I always go to Lowes. Sometimes its a love hate relationship. Getting help at times can be difficult but i like the items they carry, prices and the layout of the store. They may drive me nuts trying to get someone knowledgeable enough to answer questions at times but i still always come back.

Came in to the store today to get something to rehang a Christmas decoration that got knocked down in the storm. My husband saw that there was a craft being done in an area in the back but when he walked up the woman asked for registration which we didn’t know we had to because we just saw it when we walked in. This led to my autistic 3 year old screaming and crying to the point where we just had to leave the store.
We did these crafts at Home Depot before but never Lowe’s, never knew Lowe’s even did them. Last time we did one at Home Depot we did register. But when we got there the one advertised had run out so they gave us a backup one. Maybe Lowe’s should have that option available because clearly, not everyone knows about the process. Glad there’s a Home Depot nearby because we’ll take all of our business there. Thanks for making a 3 year old cry, Lowe’s!

Plumbing and electrical sections are a disaster. Things out of place, random boxes of everything and anything on shelves where it doesn't belong, prices wrong in the computer system and somehow it's YOUR responsibility to sort through and try to make it work. My last trip here, a loose light switch which is advertised at 98 cents rang up as 4.08. The only solution I was offered was that I could go back and take a picture of the price sticker. How is that ok? I have to be my own cashier, I have to do my own price checking, and I even have to help you fix your employees mistakes for free? Picking up online orders is a nightmare as well in my experience. I've had defective material pulled for me as well as been shorted on quantity. If you're pressed to do business with them, I highly recommend you check everything before leaving the store, as I have learned to do. While the employees tend towards the friendly side, this store has the underlying attitude of a business that truly does not care about the customer.
