A small living room in a 100-year-old house was dark with ugly curtains, which made the room seem even smaller. The single large window cast glare on TV screen if curtains were opened. I had honeycomb blinds in a prior house which did a great job for TV, but they had the nuisance factor of climbing over furniture for manual up-and-down. When I decided to attack the problem, my google search brought up this company and I decided to get an estimate. Cole's initial visit was a complete lesson in options and possibilities. He spent quite a bit of time querying me and explaining options and prices. We finally came to the decision of simple honeycomb blind, with motor for lifting, controlled by a remote (manual touch also possible if you like climbing over a sofa.). He measured very carefully. His price quote was lower than I expected for the custom-measurements, and he confirmed various consumer protections which raise the value (lifetime service). Today's installation was right on time, including more customer information and tips. The blinds look beautiful and function very well. Cole also reminded me that there is thermal benefit from this type of blinds. I definitely recommend the company and their service. Far beyond similar projects in other homes where I went with the big-box stores because I thought custom was too expensive. It all adds up to make me a happy customer.
