  Hired him a few years ago for a simple job. Ended up being dramatically over charged such as around $25 for him to clean his lightly soiled shovel, charged for a full quart of pvc when he used a small portion of a half-pint can, and over 30 minutes of sleeping in his truck on the clock. All told over $900 for an hour of work. Admittedly his work was done well, but it was extremely over priced, and he padded his bill in several more ways. I have the documentation to prove it.

  We had Al come out to take a look at our valve box and when he arrived he looked at it and said it was working fine, no leaks. But offered to do a "Mole" control dig out which would cost $3,500 to do for each box location, this was a definite NO. He also offered to sale my husband a 10 plus year old used control box for $700.00 and stated that a new one would be $1,500 or so, again NO. Basically nothing was done and I came out with a $425.00 bill. His fee's are unreal, even charges to use his tools, fuel to site, initial service fee on top of an additional $180 fee, plus another $35.00 fee for I have no idea. I will never use this company, bad practice with no customer care service. Side note: We went online and found the exact control box he was trying to sale us for $95.00 compared to his $700.00 used one that he was trying to sale. Bad practice, don't recommend this company. there are much better reputable companies out their that aren't ripping customer's off without doing any work!!! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE - THIS GUY IS A SCAM only gave a 1 star because you have to do so to post! This guy is a scam and doesn't do repairs only gives lines of BS of what he can do and never held up his end. And by the way he did speak with me as I was the one who called him and discussed the issue I was having, funny how he thought or said he never spoke or met me......JUST LIES don't hire this company if you want to get things working on your sprinkler system...

  I will never use Al Sievers Sprinkler Service again. It was the worst experience I had to repair my sprinkler system in the front yard. After two visits and $811 (excluding price to replace a jumbo valve box lid), covering 3 hours of labor, parts, supplies and tool usage - my system was still not working properly. In the end, I had no confidence in Al’s expertise when he gave me 4 possibilities of what the problem could be. We parted ways. Subsequently I called Landscape East &West to fix my sprinkler system. Their technician fixed my sprinkler system for $433. None of the options Al suggested were the problem.

  Al Sievers is really a nice fellow. Nice person I spent the day working along with Al, beautiful person. But he is crazy don't let him fool you. I had complete conficene that he would treat me fair, not so much. $60.00 for a tarp to neal on and knee pads, I don't have words to describe that, maybe moron. $120 per hour and I pay $35.00 for an electrical tester, stupid. $25.00 for hand tools and $35.00 for power tools. This guy is an idiot do not do any bussines with Al Sivers. I bought a controller for $1045.00 that I could buy for 261.00 a 400% mark up, RUN from Al Sievers. Al gluded four 90 degree elbows and charged me $28.00 for the glue, run run run from Al Sievers. Al Sievers had a bucket of water and he washed his hands and billed me $20.00 for a towel to wipe his hands on. I do not have words to describe this idiot.
