If I could give a negative star I would. I just want to say this is the most unprofessional business front IV ever wasted my time with. My husband was pre approved online or over the phone and we drove to Aaron's walked directly in to the couch that I had already picked and we stood there for 30 mins doing paperwork. He even had to take the tag back and double check the pricing and then they took my monthly payment and said they couldn't deliver till 11am Monday and at 10:40am they call me and asked were we getting the white couch or the spice couch and I said THE WHITE! we specifically talked about it being my dream couch and how I was gonna pay double payment to pay it off same as cash. He says nope can't do it. We looked at the wrong ticket. I said no we didn't we even double checked the pricing. He said well the spice was next to the white and they got switched. I said NOOO the white couch was back in the corner by itself. So I say how much extra is it for the white couch and I will pay that price even though it's not our screw up. And he said it's $70 more a month and it's $45 over the limit you were approved for. I purchased a TV from Aaron's in Portland 23 years ago and paid it off and I make plenty of money to pay the extra $45. He said nope can't do it. So I told him we will be in for our refund and he start back peddling asking did we pay with card or cash? What the heck difference does that make it was more then a week ago a paid for it. But I paid in cash, remember I let you keep the penny. So that's what my kindness got me was a huge shenanigan, a waste of my time and my money held up , not to mention taking off work and making arrangements to have my old furniture taken. The lies and excuses he was spuing was strait incompetent. I mean they told us the 1st delivery on the list at 11. So why was that not even loaded and on the way to my house. And how did he double check the tag and numbers right Infront of us and now say it was wrong. I have a pretty big urge to call a lawyer and have him get a copy of that video tape that should show the entire transaction and conversation. Too many times these places are just ripping poor people off, my mom bought a 55 TV and the remote and legs were missing and her mount had only one bar and it needs 3. She also bought a washer and dryer and specifically picked the one that had a removable agitator and I was at her house a week later and said mom they brought you the cheaper washer that doesn't have the removable agitator. They told her sorry we will get the right one out to you as soon as we can. Took another 3 days. I can't understand any of it and why they wouldn't make their mistake right or even let us pay the extra $70 a month, just $45 a month more then our pre qualified spending power. Or how about I pay a chunk of money on the couch to bring the payments down to the $125 they said we had. THINK AGAIN BEFORE GOING TO Aaron's and getting ripped off and or sold something thing you didn't even buy that isn't even all in tact or is damaged.

So I have been a part of AArons for many years. Always been treated kindly, and if I had a problem they would fix it. Well a year ago after I paid off my ( $2600) laptop it broke . Aaron’s has always had a “ fix it “ policy , and I had the extra 11.99/monthly coverage in case I lost my job, my other rental agreements that were still active would be covered. Aaron’s offered to ship my laptop to the I.T. People that use and have it fixed or they stated they would replace the laptop with one of similar value if repairs wasn’t an option . I was so grateful. Well every month while paying on other agreements I called them and asked them about the status of my laptop. Well a week ago I called and they stated “ the damage was too much, and you don’t have Aaron’s club anymore so there is nothing I can do.” I was kind and asked if I was supposed to have Aaron’s club for the rest of my life ?? I recently had a huge decline in finances and could afford the extra payments, but was told my laptop would still be replaced or fixed. My mother in law had her computer fixed years ago after it was paid off with. No issues. I am so dispaointed, they didn’t offer to help in anyway, DESPITE TELLING ME THEY WOULD! I have been a loyal customer and have referred many many people there. I will do not be coming back there in the future or telling any of my family/friends to go there. This is sickening because they are ripping people off to have them pay Aaron’s club even after they fully pay off the item, while telling the person there is a lifetime repair bonus through them for FREE!!!
