We purchased two appliances on November 28, 2025: a Midea 21 Cu. Ft. Convertible 2-in-1 Upright Refrigerator-Freezer (Model MRU21F6AWW) and an LG 24" 52 dBA Built-In Front-Control Dishwasher (Model LDFC2423V).
The LG dishwasher was delivered on December 2, 2025 and has been operating without issue. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Midea Refrigerator-Freezer.
The Midea unit was not in stock at the time of purchase and took nearly a month to arrive, with delivery completed on December 27, 2025. As this was our first Midea Refrigerator-Freezer, we initially assumed the unit required additional time to reach the proper operating temperature; however, even after several days, it failed to cool below 10°C.
We contacted The Brick regarding the issue and were advised to contact Midea directly. We did so on January 5, 2026, and a service appointment was scheduled. A technician inspected the unit on January 7, 2026, conducted a full assessment, and confirmed that the Refrigerator-Freezer is completely defective. He further advised that the cost to repair the unit would exceed the cost of the appliance itself.
We are extremely dissatisfied with this situation. We were sold a defective product costing over $900, which is unacceptable for a brand new appliance. We are currently awaiting contact from The Brick regarding a resolution. If we do not receive a prompt response, we will be forced to escalate this matter further regarding the sale of a defective product.
We expect this issue to be resolved without delay.

Damaged couches caused injury. We ordered new sectional couches. They arrived and the delivery drivers dumped them in the driveway and left. One of the couches was damaged, had a sharpe piece of metal sticking out of the side which cut through my pants and into my leg while trying to bring the couches in. And one of the couches was missing the feet. Customer service was rude from the beginning. When I told her about the injury she said “don’t walk around the couch then”. She continued to talk over me and was incredibly condescending, offering no help. Salesman Navonath’s only response was to talk to customer service, he did not care. The couch was eventually replaced but the experience the whole way through was awful, never had customer service so rude. Also the store manager never responded to me so the only option was the rude customer service person. Never buying from them again, can’t believe they did not care at all that their damaged product caused an injury. Beware !

This store has pathetic customer service. Their sales rep would always lie with basic agenda just to sell product to you. Once product is billed they’re not worried about anything. They won’t entertain any of your complaints even if you have paid for warranty. Stay away from this store if you don’t want to waste your hard earned money. Their manager & customer service desk both don’t know how to hear genuine complaints of customer. No returns are accepted in any case and they won’t tell you this policy while you’re purchasing product as sales reps are worried about their own commission.

Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
