I had the pleasure of dealing with sales associate Kevin M., from the appliances department in the Waterloo The Boardwalk location recently during their Boxing Week 2025 special pricing event.
My home needed to replace our 15 year old (!) laundry appliances and their washer/dryer set was at the right price for my budget. The brand and model that I preferred was available and in stock to my surprise.
Kevin's friendly and inviting manner made the purchase transaction less stressful, even calming. Even more, I was assured that the delivery date of the appliances to my residence would be in 3 days from the store visit. (Bonus as I started a big multi load wash on the day of the store visit!)

The second interaction with senior sales associate Kevin Magri for purchasing a major home appliance that needed replacing, was equally impressive as the first.
I'm glad I called ahead prior to visiting this Ira Needles / The Boardwalk business Centre Waterloo location, to confirm that Kevin was indeed working on the same day I went in to make my purchase.
Not only was the specific appliance I desired - Inglis washer / dryer set actually - on a great Boxing week sale price, they were both in stock at this location. Upon entering the appliances department, Kevin's pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor set the tone right away (established and consistent with our initial and previous sales interaction 4 1/2 years ago).
What made this purchase visit even more impressive was during the payment process, an earlier and more convenient home delivery date for my appliances suddenly opened up, which further confirmed that I made the right choice (again) for having any of my home appliance needs satisfied and even exceeded.

Yesterday I was awaiting a delivery of a new LG Washing Machine that we bought last Thursday at the Boardwalk location. According to the app the delivery was supposed to be between 1pm-4pm. It wasn’t until 5pm that I received a call from the delivery driver telling me that they were on their way. Five minutes later he called again to tell me that “unfortunately we will not be able to deliver your machine today and that I should reschedule the delivery until another time because they could not back into my driveway or park on the street since traffic was bad”. I explained to him that all he had to do was park on the side of the road and put pilons around and that traffic had enough room to go around. He wanted me to go outside and talk to him on the corner which I did explaining that I didn’t wait all day to be told to “reschedule” and that I would be calling the store to complain. Finally they delivered the washer and gave me attitude after I told him that they were supposed to take the old washer with them since it was labeled on my receipt. I called the store after to make my complaint and they seemed very disinterested in what I was telling them. Also these fellas were not driving a Brick truck to make their deliveries like Leon’s does. Next time I will be doing business with a professional like TA Appliance and no longer with the Brick.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
