We were seniors, in search of a couple of matching recliners. We walked around the store looking at recliners. Lots of staff around No one came near us to see what we wanted or if they could help. Three salespeople were huddled around a computer. One salesman walked by us while my husband was sitting in a recliner. His statement to my husband was "have at er." He neglected to stop or ask if he could help us or even what we were shopping for. Needless to say, we were pretty disgusted with the service. We left there and found great service, at their competition, just a short walk away. We purchased a matching set of leather recliners and finally got great service.

We purchased a sound bar on Boxing Day and were advised that an unused credit from a couch warranty could be applied toward the purchase. We paid the remaining balance and were told the sound bar would arrive within 1–2 days, and that we would be contacted once it came in.
After not hearing back within that timeframe, we returned to the store to inquire about the order. At that point, we were informed that the warranty credit could not be applied to electronics. This is information that should have been known and communicated at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, we were also told that because of the outstanding balance, the sound bar was never ordered. No one contacted us to inform us of this issue.
As a result, the total cost of the purchase is now higher than originally anticipated, and we are facing an additional delay in receiving the product. This situation could have been avoided with clearer communication and follow-up.
We have been loyal customers of The Brick and have made many purchases there over the years. However, this experience has been very disappointing, and it will cause us to reconsider our options moving forward.

I received a defective chest from Bricks that is not stable on all four legs and wobbles on the floor, making it unsafe to use. The delivery person confirmed it was defective on arrival.
The salesperson responded but couldn’t help, and customer service never responded to my claim at all.
Very poor after-sales service. I do not recommend Bricks if you expect support when there’s an issue.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Where does The Brick deliver?
Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products can also be shipped via Canada Post's shipping service. The Brick does not currently deliver or ship to anywhere in the United States, and online transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.
