    I don't think I'll ever go to Rona over another big box store again because I had the worst experience ever in a big box store. First of all I went all the way to the store to get a product and the department did not know where this product was because they're rearranging their shelves. I get that you're rearranging yourselves but they don't even know where it was originally Same thing happened with the plumbing section. All the 1.5 inch fittings were moved to the front of the aisle, the next day they were all moved back in mixed back in the original area that's being re-organized again… This happened when the original guy for that area was not working. Absolutely cannot find anything that I was looking for in the craziness. Then I get to check out and when you click scan my VIP pro card, the VIP pro card does not find my account. Type in my phone number, and it still will not find my account. The cashier did not know how to help me do it because she's helping a customer and she's the only cashier working at that time… Ended up just paying for my order without using my VIP pro discount Just done with Rona altogether

    A very helpful lady in the paint department went out of her way to help me not only pick out paint for various rooms but re-tinted 6 gallons of paint . And that was after I spilt a gallon of paint that she had to clean up and would not let me help. Her name is Ashley. Thank you.

    Was looking for custom blinds. No sales person to be found. Then I group of them talking/didn’t want to interrupt as none of them asked me if I needed assistance. Unprofessional experience. Then I was going to leave, hadn’t purchased anything. Was going to get subway on my way out, so I asked to use the door to subway that the returns clerk opens; because I’m 8 months pregnant/the exit is poorly placed. The clerk gave me attitude but allowed me through. I’d get new staff here…

    This review is mainly a repetitive issue. Lack of in store support. Many times I have difficulty finding someone in a department to get help. I just left the store in frustration. I needed assistance with an item. The person who approached me was friendly but did not know what I was talking about. He said he would get someone. I stood in the department for a few minutes then walked further along to locate someone. Found him and another staff helping another customer. I again asked the same guy if he contacted someone. Nope....he looked around and spotted another worked approach from another aisle. I then asked him about the product I was looking for. He didn't seem interested in helping and asked the other guy where "Bob "(not real name) was. They figured he was at receiving so they suggested I walk to the back of the store to find Bob. I started walking away and they said receiving was the other way. I said I was going to a different store. I will spend my money where a bit of effort to take my money is practiced. So you will notice the canned response from the owner. It's the same auto response to other complaints. I wonder if the owner even read it. Furthermore it's also is the obvious answer to my issue. Not many will call as a next step. If the owner can't take time to type a personal response or explain that he will instruct floor staff to do better? it shows a lack of care and commitment. It rubs off on the staff. This is why staff are not going the extra mile to give good customer service.....the owner doesn't even do it.
