I bought a loveseat online and given a delivery date. As the day was approaching, no call. I used their online customer service chat, who appeared to be a bot or some automatic response, who then told me they would be forwarding me to a live agent. Many many minutes later, no agent ever came on.
Some advice, select the option that you want to make a purchase and you will be forwarded to a live person immediately.
Then to be told that it might take weeks, they don’t know when it will come, but someone will call me when it arrives. What?? I specifically bought because of the availability. So now, I have to take a different day off, who knows when.
Very disappointed with this company.

Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional conduct at this location.
Sales associate Paramjeet Lamba provided incorrect information during the sale, which later resulted in extra charges being applied to my purchase. When I questioned this, the situation was made worse by supervisors and management who were dismissive, defensive, and rude instead of taking accountability.
Staff gave inconsistent explanations for the charge and demonstrated a clear lack of understanding of their own warranty policies. Rather than resolving the issue transparently, management chose to cancel invoices, reprocess payments, and shift explanations when challenged.
Approaching supervisors and managers with a legitimate complaint should not result in hostility or blame being redirected at the customer. The overall experience showed poor training, lack of professionalism, and unacceptable customer handling.
If you encounter similar issues at this location, I strongly recommend escalating the matter directly to Head Office/Corporate.

I visited The Brick last week and completed a sale with sales associate PARAMJEET LAMBA. We agreed on a price, creating a binding contract. However, when I went to pick up the item, the supervisor MARCIA, along with Paramjeet, canceled our original invoice and created a new one, charging additional fees, claiming it was a “10% deposit customers pay at the time of purchase.”
I checked The Brick’s warranty policies and confirmed that no such deposit applies to warranty claims. I escalated the issue, speaking to multiple managers at other GTA locations, all of whom confirmed that 10% deposits only apply to new sales, not warranty claims.
I then called the location where I made the purchase and spoke to VIK (manager), who apologized, explaining that both the sales associate and supervisor were unaware of the policies. He admitted that both Paramjeet and Marcia were incorrect and poorly informed. Despite this acknowledgment, no refund has been issued, and nothing has been done to resolve the situation.
Because of their errors and lack of knowledge of The Brick’s policies, I now have to return to the store again on Monday to pick up my furniture. In total, I have had to visit this location three times due to their mistakes and poor training.
I am extremely upset and disappointed with the service. My advice: avoid this location entirely. Staff are poorly trained, unprofessional, rude, unaware of company policies, and willing to incorrectly charge customers after a sale has been completed.

Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
