Bought a stove got delivered a broken stove. Asked the delivery driver for assistance he said nothing he can do to call Rona. He then proceeded to drive off with my working stove. Called rona and spoke to Deep in appliances who was not very helpful. Put me on hold for 10 mins says I have to wait for someone else who was helping a customer. He was not able to help the customer to have the lady assist with the broken stove. Asked to speak to a manager he just sent me to customer service who then hung up on me when asking for a manager. Called customer service back 3 times and was placed on hold each time for ten mins and I hung up. Called back the appliance section and the lady said there’s nothing she can do except arrange a pick up of the stove and that I can just buy another. Very disappointing customer service and once resolved will definitely not be buying from Rona again. No apologies or compensation provided. I advised her that I would not have time to come by due to working hours and she said come by when I am free. I will not have a working stove for the next week.

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
