My husband and I were in for Black Friday shopping for our new house today. Harry was incredibly knowledgable and helpful with all of our selections and ensuring that our order would be delivered shortly after we move into our new home. Thank you, Harry and all the staff at The Brick Barrie.

Unfortunately communicating with customer service is an unhelpful and unpleasant experience.
Looking at some other reviews it appears the company could benefit from additional training for their customer service team and managers, specifically regarding providing a more welcoming and friendlier experience for their customers to encourage repeat business.
After communication with a manager by the initial H and the customer service team I am left with the unpleasant feeling that The Brick does not value repeat business from me or my family. We have recently purchased at least $10,000 - $15,000 of furniture together for multiple properties.
As a result of the unpleasant feeling I am left with I will be exploring other alternatives before considering another purchase from The Brick.

Had a great experience shopping for a mattress today with the salesperson Nadir in Barrie.
He listened to what I needed. He is very knowledgeable about this department and made exceptional recommendations. When I need anything else from this Brick store I will shop again.
Nadir is a great salesperson and I would recommend him to friends
Thank you

I spent over $15,000 at The Brick (Barrie), and I regret every dollar. The sofa started wearing out way too soon, and when I tried to claim the warranty, the response was absolutely horrible. Instead of replacing it, they tried to “repair” it with material that didn’t even match the original color. Ridiculous. Honestly, screw this company.
This store does not care about its customers at all. The manager and supervisor were extremely arrogant, and instead of helping, they threatened me when I mentioned taking a legal route. The way they talk when they’re trying to sell you something vs. how they treat you after you’ve bought it is a night-and-day difference.
The Brick should honestly be boycotted. Leon’s is FAR better in every way — customer service, product quality, and respect for customers.
I strongly suggest everyone go to Leon’s instead and avoid The Brick completely.

LISTEN TO THOSE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THE WARRANTY. DO NOT BUY IT!!!
If I could leave a zero star review I would, even a negative star to be honest. I really have no idea how they have so many five start ratings. They must force you to write a review while you’re still at the store.
We purchased the couches in Nov of 2022 and paid for the extended warranty. I had made two claims for my love-seat and 3 seater couch on September 20th. My love-seat has a spring that is literally popping through the bottom fabric underneath the couch, and my 3 seater couch has a broken wooden piece from the frame that is literally pushing through the back fabric of my couch, which had started making a dent in my wall that it was up against for the last almost 3 years. My husband and I found these issues when moving our furniture out of the living room as we were redoing the flooring.
I noticed that the spring was popping out of the love-seat on September 28th as we had lifted the couches out of the room. I called the brick to let them know that I just noticed the issue and the woman who answered said no problem I will add into the claim. I asked if she wanted photos, and she said I didn’t need them. I also had not heard from the repair crew so she sent them an email pushing it along. They finally came out to my house on October 16th, literally took photos and left 5 minutes later. I was under the impression that my couches would be fixed right then and there, as they did not mentioned they’d only be taking photos.
Now I’m being told that my warranty claim is being denied as there is “excessive damage done to my couches.” They’re claiming that because the bottom fabric of the removable cushions are ripped at the seam that they will not fix any other issues we have with them. And that my warranty is void. That’s like going to the eye doctor with a hinge repair, and then the doctor telling you sorry your lenses are scratched so we can’t fix the frame.
Why on earth would you sell someone a warranty and then deny them of the repair because they have ripped fabric at the seam under a cushion? I’m not even making a claim for that. The fact that they deny it because of “misuse and neglect” is highly comical. I’m making claims because the STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY of both couches are broken. I cannot use these couches as the spring will scratch my brand new flooring, and the wood panel from the other couch will literally rip the rest of the back fabric and continue to damage my wall. Oh, and good luck trying to contact anyone from head office because it will not matter how many messages you leave - they will not get back to you.
The store manager will not do anything, and she basically insinuated that I don’t clean my couches as her words were “if you ever were to vacuum or clean the couch you would’ve seen the fabric.” We clean our couches, and are currently going through a renovation, but thanks for the judgment. The repair crew is literally finding anything to deny my claim, and now I’m out $3,300 and two couches. All I was asking was to repair the two structural issues that both my couches have, but they won’t even work with me to find a middle ground. Reading all the one star reviews really makes me sad that this company will not stand behind their customer service. Each time I called the store my information was taken and I was told a manager would call me back. Make customers a priority and maybe you wouldn’t have such bad reviews.
I’m not even going to start with the issues we had when we first purchased these couches and how we had to take a floor model one because they neglected to tell us that part of them was discontinued.
DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY. Judging by some of these other reviews, I know we are not the only ones with this issue. Maybe they should reevaluate what products they sell. I have never ever had springs or the frame break on any couch I’ve ever owned.
I will never ever recommend The Brick to anyone again, nor will I purchase ANYTHING from this company ever again.
Do better.
