I wish I could not select any stars, but one would suffice. The lack of communication and poor customer service I experienced really but a bad taste in my mouth. I literally ordered furniture for my place a month prior to me moving. First red flag, they changed my delivery date without any confirmation on the day of my move. The only thing that arrived was my couch, which I had to pay an additional $200 for the delivery because they had a new sales representative, and he mistakenly said my clearance couch would be delivered with all the latest furniture pieces on my move in date 10/18/25. We had to schedule the remainder of the furniture, and unfortunately, there was an additional delay. I was told that I was receiving everything on the new delivery date of 11/01/25. However, I had to reach out to the staff two days before because no one ever confirmed the new delivery date. Once that was confirmed, on the day of the delivery, only my bedroom set, my daughter's bed, and the living room table were on the truck. My daughter did not receive her chest, and I had four missing chairs. I contacted the staff, and all they could offer was a $200 refund towards what I paid. The office stated that I was supposed to receive the chest and chairs in January. I received a random call saying that a delivery for the chairs only was scheduled for TODAY, November 13, 2025. I agreed to the delivery. The hours range from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm. As time passed, no one called, so I called and was told the DELIVERY had been CANCELED due to an address change. I never change the address. This is MY FIRST AND LAST time ever using Value City. This is ridiculous and I am happy for everyone else who had a wonderful experience but they can really jump off a cliff!

I had a really positive experience at this Value City this month. Two associates were super helpful on helping me find both living room and bedroom furniture. They both went above and beyond to ensure I purchased items I really love and fit my budget. I appreciate their knowledge of products and sales as well as them connecting with me and my partner as we shopped. Looking forward to coming back for my future furniture needs!
