You should water your newly installed lawn 1-2 times a day within the first few weeks of seeding. Water your lawn enough to ensure the top layer of soil is consistently moist. It is the most beneficial to water lawns either in the early morning or late evening. For larger yards, break the lawn into zones and water each zone for around 20-30 minutes. Remember, frequent watering will allow your seed to germinate faster, giving you an amazing green yard! Until the seeded area is showing a dense, green growth, do not allow your yard to dry out!

Pre-emergent weed control can be applied in the spring for the prevention of annual weeds. Typically, it is best to prune before the plant’s new growth! However, it is also recommended to prune your shrubs lightly between late spring and early fall to keep your plants shaped appropriately.
