A residential and commercial design + build landscaper who creates stunning outdoor spaces that are beautiful, highly functional, and perfectly attuned to your unique style personality—Stoney Creek Landscaping was founded by Troy Stoller in 2005.
After receiving a landscape design construction degree, and interning with a landscape company in Oregon, he returned to Ohio to put his eclectic background to work.
Over the years he attracted similarly talented individuals and his crews and scope of operation grew. As a full-service, one-stop-shop operation, our crews offer everything from lawn maintenance to snow removal, lawn mowing service, mulching service, lawn fertilization, design, installation and construction of softscapes and hardscapes. We’ve earned a reputation in northern Ohio as the landscaper to call when you want to boost curb appeal and enjoyment of your outdoor living space.

Tapping into innovative 3-D architectural design software, we are able to visually conceptualize clients’ ideas, making changes when needed to create exactly what they envision.
After consulting with each client, we get an idea of their lifestyle and the best outdoor living designs to fit it, including fireplaces and firepits, aquascapes like Koi ponds, waterfalls and fountains, outdoor kitchens and the hardscapes to define the dedicated spaces.

- RVRonny&LaTasha VandykeJul 12, 20223.0If you’re looking for only landscaping work, especially for a initial installation of grass and flower beds, I recommend that you DO NOT spend your time and money with Stoney Creek. Troy, the person we were directly working with, was very responsive initially. However, once we signed and agreed to go with Stoney Creek, it was nearly impossible to get in contact with him. We had to call him and the office several times to get in touch with him. The crew DID NOT do a good job at rock hounding our yard, and there are an unexplainable amount of rocks still visible in our yard along with many bare areas where is not growing. One of our biggest regrets was having somewhere to go the evening that they were installing our grass, so we weren’t here the entire day. We trusted them to complete the job to the highest satisfaction, but that was not the case. Once the seed and hay was down, it was hard to tell how many rocks were left initially, but it was evident soon after. We felt after they had finish the job and received our money, Troy and his crew did not care to check in on us to see if we were satisfied with the work or to answer the calls to come fix what we weren’t satisfied with. We were hoping they would be courteous enough to check in on us while they were doing other work in our neighborhood, but that was not the case. The only time Troy came back out to see us was after we had called several times to get in contact with him. He came out only ONCE, the crew came out once to pick up rocks BY HAND that were “big”. The first 10 photos were taken 5 months after the work was completed. It’s been close to two years and we are still not happy and are trying to find ways to get our grass to look better. We are definitely disappointed in Stoney Creek. We were hoping to have a better experience, but that was unfortunately not the case. We highly suggest you go with a different company for any landscaping work. Update per conversation on 7/15: Troy did reach back out to us on Friday to hear our concerns regarding the services we received. He did let us know that SCL will reach out to us to schedule a time in the fall to address the issues with our grass. We are hoping that our issues can be rectified as best as possible. Thank you. Update: On 9/7/2022, SCL came out to topdress and over-seed our lawn. They also applied a lime application. We appreciated Troy rescheduling SCL to come back out to address our concerns. Our yard looks better than it did before. Thank you.
