(Take the time to read) As a business owner, I don't make excuses but this time around VCF decided to do that. For some reason, initially they had my furniture going to my old address in PA. "Why would I order furniture in Ohio for PA? I asked." The one lady said, you'd be surprised, it happens. Meanwhile all of my furniture would be delivered piecemeal. I received my queen bedroom set and the living room set to be delivered in December but my son's bedroom set to be delivered in January. Unacceptable! So I decided to go in after several calls and was encouraged to do a reselection. I was told that Kathy would call me the day of my delivery. I gave them two times in which she could do so and that if she missed me I'd call right back. I never received that call and STILL had more pieces missing in my delivery. I called the next day to be given the excuse she was in meetings all day. Guess my business isn't important. I was also told by the guy that they can't deliver something to me that's across the country. Great attitude. I expressed to him that as a business owner I would think if someone says they would call a call would be placed. I was given every excuse from tariffs to the manager is busy with no rectification. So 5k in business will be taken elsewhere. It's a shame that the delivery drivers were the ones who had to tell me more than those in the store. My last run with VCF was way better! I have no idea what's happened over the years but this isn't it. I'm very disappointed. (Added 11.14.) Spoke to Jay the store manager today to have them pick up items I won't be using (full box spring and dresser with mirror) come to find out the items were NOT removed from my list as the guy I spoke to on the 12th said he did. I wish I took his name but I was driving. Jay removed the items, no discount offered in items purchased for all inconveniences. VCF has been my go-to. Not anymore.

I purchased a full bedroom and couches for my house. They sent me a bed with the wrong size footboard. I called regarding the bed . They told me they don’t have it in stock rn , and I have to wait at least two weeks. Now I don’t have a bed to sleep on . With estimated time two weeks and it could take longer since they don’t have it in stock. That’s not how you treat your customers. You guys took my money and you didn’t send me a functional bed to sleep on.

I’m so disappointed! We purchased 2 couches from value city furniture, And they told us we should get the warranty Which is supposed to be a five year warranty !That supposedly covers “everything” We filed a claim two times and got denied both times saying we didn’t file “on time” I don’t understand what on time means when it’s supposed to be a five year warranty do not purchase from them or do not get their stupid warranty. It’s all lies. I’m so disappointed and will never buy from them again.

From my initial purchasing of my couch to its delivery, I had a great experience. The salesperson who helped me in store was casual but knowledgeable, which helped me make a pressure-free decision. He was respectful of my criteria I spelled out when I said what I was looking for. Leading up to the delivery, I loved the level of detail and frequency of correspondence to confirm the delivery details. Once here, the delivery men were incredibly careful and efficient. I couldn't believe they had the whole couch in place, put together, and fully operational in under 10 minutes. I'm so impressed! I will absolutely make this my first stop next time I'm furniture shopping.
