  This company gets a big thumbs down from me. I called them because I found I had a mouse infestation in my garage that looked like it had been there a couple years. I snap trapped 4 in 4 days and thought it probably was a good idea to have an exterminator come out and inspect the premises. I wanted to make sure the infestation didn’t get into my home and that it was only centralized to the garage. I found their nest in the wall, disposed of it and then proceeded to start getting rid of clutter, sealing up entry points and laying bait boxes out around the outside of the house. My call was answered by patty and after hearing what I stated above we made an appointment for a tech to come out Tuesday 10/14 at 2:00. She told me that the tech she was sending was good and that he would inspect the property and let me know of the findings. The price she told me was $99 plus tax. That didn’t seem like a bad price to at least get a good grasp on how bad the infestation was and if it had gotten into the house. On Tuesday 10/14 at 2:05 (5 minutes after they were supposed to be there) I received a call from patty saying that they can’t come because their company policy doesn’t allow them to do inspections only that their policy is only for them to do an inspection and lay their traps and that the price was now goting to be $199 plus tax. I said “oh, that would’ve been nice to know earlier instead of 5 minutes after you’re supposed to be here so I could’ve scheduled someone else” she then got rude and said “I don’t know what you want me to tell you sir but my manager just told me to tell you they can’t come” I actually had no response because I couldn’t believe what she said and it’s likely that my response wouldn’t have been nice so I just decided to hang up the phone. It turned out to be the best decision! I got right back on Google to look for another company. I found Freedom Force Pest Control. They answered the phone right away and the owner who was out in the area told me he had a break in his day and asked if it was ok to come out right away and check things out for me. He was there in 15 minutes and spent about 45 minutes at my house. He inspected the entire property and gave me the piece of mind that nothing was getting into the house, that it was centralized to the garage and all precautions I was taking to seal up the garage and set bait stations were exactly what he would’ve done. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need and was very thorough and informative. So if you’re reading this review and want a good honest company that will stick by what they say and won’t try to sell you something you don’t need then back out of your browser and type in Freedom Force Pest Control! You won’t be sorry! Thanks Amherst Exterminators! Without you guys I never would’ve found Freedom Force!

  I had a wasp infestation in my attic and my upstairs bedroom. Vinnie came out (super nice) and took care of the problem. He sprayed the entry point on the exterior, then crawled into the attic and removed the nest. Quick turnaround, very professional, I highly recommend them.

  Amherst exterminators was wonderful! We had a really bad yellow jacket issue in our front lawn and they came out so quickly and had it effectively treated. The yellow jackets were gone within a few days, and they even mentioned if they weren’t, that they would come back and retreat it. Everyone was so incredibly kind and communicative. While I hope I don’t have any more issues, they would be the first people I call should there ever be an issue again.

  Marc came out and inspected our space. I appreciated his time and reassurance. Although he didn’t see any signs of pests, I appreciated his knowledge and expertise on prevention. Some pest control companies just treat without inspection AKA a money pit. If I have any issues I’ll be calling Amherst exterminators.
