In June 2025, Aaron’s in Irondequoit NY dragged a stackable washer/dryer up my stairs & across my hardwood floors without the proper protection under- leaving large scrape marks. I reached out to the phone # Aarons used to communicate with me before they delivered my machine. A girl responded in an angry & mean way, scolding me not to contact her personal number. (She never told me it was a personal phone) At this point, I realized that no one is holding Aarons’ Employees accountable for their extreme rudeness towards my kind of situation -that couldlve been resolved in a more positive & productive way Inevitably, Aaron’s took responsibility & offered to complete an insurance claim in June. After 10 days of this delivery, I called them to check on the status. (Ken, their GM) Responded in an annoyed way saying the claim is not gonna take 2 days.) I knew from that point that these people are scary to communicate with Not only am i an extremely polite person, But I was extremely understanding, graceful, & undemanding with them, So the way they treated me after & up until this day is horrifying Aaron’s ignored all of my calls up until October when I finally showed up in person. The General Manager Ken told me that Aaron’s never submitted the claim even though their very so argumentative employee claimed she did (she even sent a screenshot of her so called proof back in June) Their insurance company finally reached out to me 3 weeks ago to address the claim On Dec 8, 2025, I called Aaron’s because I was no longer interested in Financing. They arranged to come this past Monday, but they did a no call no show I called the next day, & Ken Told me there was no arrangement (They did not write my appointment down The week before) Ken rescheduled for Aaron’s to come today at or after 3pm and I was instructed to wait another 4 hour window. Today, Crystal (an employee )called me at 6:30pm & said they couldn’t make it. I told crystal I can be available tomorrow but it’s undesirable to wait another 4 hrs. She then got argumentative with me, & told me that if I’m not available for the 4 hr window like everyone else has to be- that I would have to make another payment. My issue is she showed no empathy or compassion for my time wasted & only focused on arguing & talking over me. In that moment, I tried to tell her my frustration isn’t with her, but instead with the entire experience starting from June Crystal overly expressed that she didn’t care about the insurance claim not being submitted or anything I had to say and accused me of yelling at her, and used this as an excuse to end the call. She also told me I was complaining instead of coming up with a 4 hr window pickup time. How do these people get away with this unimaginable customer service? It takes 0 effort to be kind, but their employees communicate like they’ve never been loved in their entire lives because that’s how they treated me, like my business didn’t matter from the beginning! Save your hard earned money and rent from a business that cares about their customers!!!!!
