Seen an item online and went to this store location to see merchandise in person. I was promptly greeted by a salesman and asked if they had this item in store for viewing. He took me to the item and explained that it had add on pieces if I decided to purchase them. I took some pictures with my phone so I could take home and think about it which I conveyed to the salesman. He responded very, very sarcastically, saying that I viewed the item at home and did NOT measure before I came to the store. Obviously upset because he wanted to CLOSE THE DEAL IMMEDIATELY. I asked him for his business card and he said he didn’t have one on his person. He disappeared for 5 minutes and gave to me with a smug expression. Ironically, he is giving me grief for not measuring the item at home, but what kind of salesperson does not have a business card with them when they are with customers. This is the second bad experience I had at the Flatbush Avenue store. I should have known better and went to the Cropsey Avenue store where I made my other purchases and was treated with the courtesy and upmost respect.

Khrystyna Balanetska was a pleasure to work with! She patiently helped me figure out what I wanted, was available after the sale to answer questions about my order and delivery, and was delightful to deal with. So glad I stopped by and love my new recliner loveseat!

KHRYSTYNA BALANETSKA
We had an outstanding experience working with Khrystyna Balanetska, Home Furnishing & Sleep Consultant. From start to finish, she provided incredible support, guidance, and hands-on help every step of the way.

Flatbush Avenue store in Brooklyn NY!!! We are not happy with the new purchase and feel like we were tricked and scammed. First of all, we have a Raymour and Flanigan credit card; we didn't need one and also told the salesman numerous times,I had the physical card on me!! Somehow, he ran our credit and applied for one behind our back (we found out a few days later when we received a letter from the bank). Second of all, he was 1000% not honest with us. The 0% financing payments for 36 or 48 months for a purchase that is more than $2000 were only given for 12 months. (Even though we saw it say 36 or 48 months of 0% interest on the website or $200 off the night before we went to the store.) We want to know what exactly is going on with Raymour and Flanigan and their employees. Are they getting some kind of permission to trick people who want to do business with them? After all, we feel like fools for making our new purchase (because we found out there was a sale with $200 off, based on the fact that the salesman only gave us 18 months at 0% interest rates, which the store did not honor on the sale deal) after we left the store. Also, on the following Monday, we went back to the store in Flatbush, Brooklyn. We waited for almost 1 hour with our 2 small children for the manager to show up to discuss this matter, while the store was only busy with a few customers. I guess Manager Paul wasn't the right person to help us with his attitude. Long story short, after we explained all the paperwork and the sale deal, he said he was going to fix the credit card application, the $200 sale deal instead of 0% for 36 or 48 months, and a gift card for all the trouble. However, after a month from the day we went back to the store, we still have not received a new statement of anything that even mentions our purchase. With all of these issues, we demand an answer from Raymour and Flanigan. With almost all of the furniture we have purchased over the years, we hope we can get an honest answer. As of this writing no $200. price adjustment even though they have a price protection policy which clearly states if the item goes on sale you get the sale price!!I WILL NEVER SHOP AT RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN AGAIN AND PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE FLATBUSH AVENUE STORE IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!
By far the WORST customer service experience EVER. A credit I was supposed to have been given 2-3 years ago was never applied??! Negligence at its finest. Last year I purchased $1500 worth of things from them, to my knowledge the credit should’ve been applied to this! It was never applied, so I ended up paying that full amount. Then I went in physically and they told me “ our systems changed we have to let the team that has the old system know” made me wait TWO weeks, did not even call me I had to call them. Then I called AGAIN, a female representative told me they would issue me a check within 7-10 business days because at this point RAYMOUR lost me as their customer. 7-10 business past, it’s been a month now and no check issued. NOW I’m on the phone for AN HOUR, the lady said she’s going to “ check the old system”. If you work at RAYMOUR and you’re seeing this, get it together, it’s not all about making sales. Try to actually keep the customers you’re selling to!! More reviews like this will keep coming until my ISSUE is resolved.
