- KTKathryn TaylorDec 5, 20251.0I purchased a couch through the Truro store and had it break within the first year. It then took 3-4 MONTHS for them to find me a new one. On top of this, the old couch had scraped my flooring from putting the pullout bed option in and out. It was ruined and I told this to Mary-Ellen. The supervisor at that time, Mary-Ellen (something similar to this) tried to say she needed help from my partner to take the new couch off the truck and he would need to take the day off work to do this as she didn’t have any delivery workers to help…I was also promised several payments taken off my end total as it had taken so long to get the couch. I thought this was great as I had been making my payments the entire time I had NO COUCH. After receiving my replacement couch, I called and was assured I would be contacted to complete this. I was never contacted. When I went into the store to make my final payment, as is required, the supervisor (still Mary-Ellen) spoke to me about how yes she remembers saying this. That was it. No talk about how she could fix this. I will NEVER purchase from this store again. What a negative experience.
