Taylor, specifically, was great to work with. She was a big part of the good experiences we had. If you are thinking about being a customer - you should request Taylor!

Taylor is absolutely fantastic! She is the ONLY person in the area with knowledge of the Hayward Omnilogic system. She helped us get the parts we needed and had them installed quickly. She is always polite and, more importantly, responds to every call/email within hours which is extremely unusual.

I LOVE MY POOL! Dom and his team went above and beyond for supporting me in redoing my pool! I am so thankful I found them and worked with them. He and his employee Taylor helped me find the exact color cement I wanted to redo my pool with. Which was not an easy task because I wanted it to be exactly the same to what my pool was before redoing it. I was very nervous to do redo the pool because I loved the color so much but the pool was old and needed to be redo. Dom and Taylor really put their heart into helping me find the correct match and had patience and support that went above and beyond. I am so satisfied with my pool and it came out better than I could imagined. Their team was on time, clean and diligent . Thank you so much!

Great team and excellent pool maintenance! We did not have a single issue this summer with pool maintenance and it was always clean and clear to swim. My pool is a little piece of heaven and Crystal Blue did a great job building it and keeping it maintained for my family to swim 6 months of the year

Waited 3.5 weeks for my SCHEDULED repair and they didn't show up, called and they were supposed to come out the following week and didn't show up or call.
When they finally called and said they would be out the following week and call the day before coming out......you guessed it, they never called or came out.
Terrible service at every turn, i wouldn't recommend them at all !!!
Frequently Asked Questions About Crystal Blue Pool Renovation
How do I know my pool needs to be replastered?
Pool plaster deteriorates over time. Signs that indicate the need for replastering include visible worn-out areas and a rough texture on the pool's surface. These are typically clear indicators that it's time to consider replastering your pool.
How do I determine if the tiles on my pool need to be replaced?
Assessing the need for tile replacement can be challenging through visual inspection alone. However, key indicators include visible cracks in the tile and an increasing frequency of tiles detaching from the pool surface year after year. These signs often suggest it's time to consider replacing your pool tiles.
How do I determine when to replace my coping/brick is the right time?
To assess if coping or brick replacement is necessary, conduct a visual inspection and perform a simple sound test. Gently tap the top of the coping or brick with a pool cover pole or hammer. A solid sound indicates good condition, while a hollow sound suggests the coping or brick may be detaching from the bond beam. This detachment often results from the freeze-thaw cycles common in northeastern climates.
How long does pool installation take?
The duration of pool installation varies by type. Vinyl liner pools typically take 3-6 weeks, while concrete (gunite) pools require 8-12 weeks or more. Factors such as weather conditions, design complexity, and inspection schedules can extend these timelines.
Do I need a permit to install a pool?
Yes, most municipalities require permits for pool installation. It's essential to check with your local authorities regarding specific permit requirements before beginning any pool construction project.
Do I need a fence or safety barrier?
Safety barriers, typically fences with self-closing and self-latching gates, are required by most local building codes for pool areas. Some jurisdictions may also mandate alarms on doors leading to the pool area as an additional safety measure.
What is the difference between saltwater and chlorine pools?
Saltwater pools use a salt chlorine generator to produce chlorine through electrolysis, resulting in gentler water that requires less manual chemical handling. They have higher initial costs but lower ongoing chemical expenses. Traditional chlorine pools involve manual addition of chlorine, offering more flexibility in adjusting chlorine levels quickly. They have lower setup costs but higher ongoing chemical expenses and may feel harsher on skin and eyes.
