Rude and impatient staff. Unwilling to help or answer basic questions. Additionally, they back talk within ear shot of the customer with no regard. Terrible experience.

I came into their Secaucus location with a friend yesterday to browse and look at some furniture. We were greeted by a woman at the door who asked us if we came in with something in mind and we stated we were only interested in browsing for now and in a weird and uncomfortable response, she pressed that we had to have a reason for wanting to come to their store. Both me and my friend felt icky but brushed it off and walked away. Afterwards, we were looking at vanities and a male employee approached us and asked us if we needed any help and we declined. He THEN proceeded to FOLLOW US throughout the entire time we were browsing the store. This was THE MOST uncomfortable experience I’ve had at a furniture store. The entire time, every turn we made, he continued to follow us and we decided to browse much more quickly than we wanted to exit the store. It was absolutely uncomfortable. What company trains their employees to follow people who state they’re ONLY browsing?? I was even LESS interested in actually purchasing something because I felt extremely cautious and aware of their desperation. It felt like either they just wanted to pressure us into a desperate sale or to get us out of the store if only we wanted to browse. How about you let people actually LOOK at your products and THEN if they have any questions they’ll approach you for with an inquiry instead of being creeps tailing us through the entire store and leaving a terrible impression of your company. When we were walking, nobody else in the store had an associate standing uncomfortably behind them. I’m Absolutely NEVER visiting a Raymour and Flanagan store ever again! This was my first impression of your company!!! Very uncomfortable!!! EDIT: Oh look!! a consistent pattern of behavior. according to reviews and despite them acknowledging this behavior by their staff is inappropriate, they’ll give a disingenuous apology but don’t correct it. Seems like you just try to do the laziest PR control all while never changing your conduct.

I had a really frustrating experience at the Raymour & Flanigan in Secaucus, NJ, and I feel people should be warned. I bought furniture there and paid for their protection plan, but when the electrical parts on one side of the motor stopped working, I quickly realized how untrustworthy their service was. It’s been a month now with zero follow-up. I can't get a live person on the phone to fix the issue, and no one is taking responsibility to facilitate the repair. In my opinion, this place is absolutely not worth your business. Consider yourself warned: look elsewhere if you want reliable service and a company that stands by their protection plan. I am tempted to pay to rent the billboard outside the road on route 3 to tell this warning to all other customer who go there.

I walked into the store after getting off of a long day work. I was briefly greeted by an employee upon walking in. I was appointed to the back of the store to customer service, to solve the problem that I was having. I told costumer service my issue with my bed I bought from Raymour and Flanigan, she then gave me a number to call. I told the her that I had already called costumer service and they said that I could go into the store. She then told me she that it wasn’t allowing her to look it up, the catch is I didn’t give her any information or anything. So basically they help you spend a ton of money to buy furnitures, but give you the run around when trying to get it fixed after buying the warranty that they suggested to buy
