  We relocated from Maryland to North Carolina in December 2015. Two primary reasons for this move were the availability of more affordable houses on larger plots of land. However, we had never resided in a home with a history of previous owners, which has proven to be a significant challenge. Now, a decade later, one of my ongoing issues has been explaining to my mother that we no longer live in the north and that things have changed. Up north, we never required an exterminator, but here, it’s essential to have one, and it needs to be consistent. For the past decade, I allowed her to call an exterminator whenever she felt the need, but this approach didn’t yield satisfactory results. Recently, I took over all house maintenance to ensure consistency and quality. I noticed our neighbor across the street using ClearDefense Pest Control, and after researching them online, I realized they would be an excellent fit for us. From the moment I called and scheduled the appointment to Brandon arriving today and explaining everything, the process was incredibly smooth and stress-free. Just one treatment and all the work Brandon did today has made me feel much more comfortable in our home. He thoroughly inspected all the areas, used a duster to remove webs around the windows, and applied pest control, which has made a significant difference. The most exciting aspect for me is that I will be using them consistently and receiving them quarterly. I firmly believe in proper home maintenance. I didn’t realize its significance until I lived in a house where the previous owners had neglected it, and even the inspectors overlooked the underlying issues. All these problems stemmed from a lack of proper maintenance. It’s crucial to have an exterminator who provides consistent treatment, especially if you live in a rural area near a lake and wooded areas. ClearDefense Pest Control will now be an integral part of that proper maintenance. Not only will they keep the house safe from all sorts of pests, but I will also keep appropriate records of the treatments, which will add value to the property.
