  Stacy, the owner is an absolutely lovely person! Our son is autistic and LOVES appliances, and she was so incredibly supportive and kind when talking to him. Lately, We bought an induction stove from her at A FRACTION of the price from a box store! Before stopping at Menards, or Home Depot stop here-you won’t regret it. shop small, shop local

  Attempted to use their services for a repair. While the repair technician and staff were kind, communication was not transparent and timelines promised were not met. One month of back and forth which resulted with incomplete repairs. After one failed repair attempt I was assured they could meet quoted timelines with “certainty” then was ghosted until after those timelines passed. Unless you have ample time to waste and can ensure tests are actually completed before receiving a diagnosis, I would go elsewhere with my business. You’ll end up paying for a service you don’t actually receive.

  I love Shorties. The people, the prices, and the office dog. All are great. There is no need to ever buy brand new expensive appliances. Shorties inventory is well maintained, and a great value. I highly recommend.

  These guys are incredible. Even when one of the washers they sold us had an issue, they came back multiple times until it was fixed. Stacy and her team as top notch and great people. Our family appreciates them.

  Wonderful experience. Absolutely excellent price. I wanted an older model, non HE washing machine. I DIDN'T want one with sensors and DID want the corkscrew agitator to replace my newer model which has been nothing but a pain in the arse since I bought it 6 or so years ago. I spent a few weeks checking back in at Shortie's until I saw the model I wanted. They get new appliances in daily so you don't have to wait a long time to get what you want. Throughout the process I talked with a number of sales people and they were all incredibly nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They delivered it that week and the delivery guys were also extremely nice, professional, and helpful. Over-all it was a great experience and I highly recommend Shorties. If you buy more than one appliance, they can deliver them in one shot, which will save you money on delivery costs. As it so happened, I also needed a stove, which I bought there and it's perfect!!! Shortie's will remove the old items so you don't need to worry about that. One small note that people may find helpful. I have bought used items my entire adult life and some of these items come from smoker's homes. As a former smoker, I am highly sensitive to the stale after-smell that pervades these items. The bad news: After doing a load, I became aware that the washing machine had that smell. The good news: This smell, as well as 99% of all other unpleasant smells can easily be completely eliminated by running an Ozone Generator Air Purifier Deodorizer. Ozone generators remove odors by releasing ozone gas, a highly reactive molecule that oxidizes and breaks down odor-causing compounds.These things are a necessity if you are smell-sensitive like I am. You can find them on Amazon for under $100 (mine cost about $75 but it is INVALUABLE). You just run it as close to the source of the bad smell as possible for an hour or so (read the instructions carefully and DO NOT run an ozone generator with people or pets in the house. Also, keep plants away from them). After running the Ozone Generator on top of the washing machine with the lid open for about an hour and a half, I am happy to say that the smell was completely eliminated and I am totally stoked about my new used washing machine!
