- ZPZoë PuritaNov 12, 20251.0Renting from Extra Storage Space was an extremely frustrating experience. If you’re planning a long-distance move, I strongly recommend not renting from this company. They do not allow moving pods (like U-Pack or PODS) to stay on their property. Because of this, we were forced to rent a U-Haul truck, load all our belongings, drive to the pod location, and then unload everything again just to reload it into the pod. What makes it worse is that the site manager never mentioned this restriction when we rented the units—despite knowing our exact moving plans. The lack of transparency caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and added significant extra costs. To make matters worse, after spending all that extra money on the U-Haul, we fell slightly behind on payment. Instead of showing any understanding, they added a $100 late fee and refused to waive it. Overall, this company is not customer-friendly and completely unaccommodating. The lack of honesty and flexibility will cost you more in the long run. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere—Public storage space right down the road allows for pods for 24 hours. In addition if you need additional time you can rent a parking space for the pod.

As for storage, it's fairly secure and they take cleanliness seriously. They also make sure that if someone forgets to lock their storage, they will notify its renters about it and put a temporary lock on so nothing is stolen. Overall it's a good place to store your things.
