  The Amistee gentlemen were right on time. They walked through the process with me. They said it would take about two hours and they finished in an hour and a half. They protected my home from outside dirt by putting covers on their shoes and covering my stairs before taking equipment down. They were friendly , respectful and communicated well. It was a very good experience.

  It appears the crew did a great job of the duct cleaning but I was not impressed with the use of drop cloths and protection of floor surfaces. There was a large amount of clean up after the technicians left our home including fine metal chips from cutting into the ductwork. I believe homeowners shouldn’t have to do so much work after a contractor is in the house to actually clean something.

  Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this company. Back in February we had this company out to do the aeroseal in our ducting after experiencing certain rooms in our home colder than others. During our initial inspection to see if we’d be a good candidate, we were told this would DEFINITELY help. I’ve gone back and forth about leaving this review but after almost a full year we have noticed no change in the airflow in our home and no change in our heating bill. When the guys were here doing our home they were having huge problems, they told us normally they have more people doing the job but they were short staffed that day. The job took hours! We have a small daughter and we couldn’t have our heat on for the entire time. They came at 8am and didn’t leave until almost 6pm. The aeroseal machine had trouble pressurizing and I could tell the technician was feeling stressed. They missed blocking certain duct vents and we saw the aeroseal filling our home. We had to tell him numerous of times that we think they missed certain ducts. Finally, he said the machine worked and we got shown a report at the end that says our house is now 98% more efficient, which now seems like it may have been fabricated? The report was supposed to be emailed to us the next day but never was. All we received was two texts asking for us to leave a review. They took our money and we never heard from them again. My husband went down into our crawl space to check our ducting and notice holes in our duct work, with air just flowing straight out, that we now have to fix. After reading all the positive reviews maybe our house was just a case of bad luck but we wished we would have just saved our money.

  Wow got a free cleaning & sealed heat ducts through Consumers Energy. I am impressed other than some dirt on my blanket & bedside table what great work. They came 90 minutes early, they called 1st 2 check. I was very happy it's so cold outside should help with heat bills? Had under my home reinstated 2 years ago. The two gentlemen were very nice & professional. Every question was addressed & answered. What a relief 2 have more heat thank you Consumers & Amistee. Tina Wilson

  The team, Terrell led, did an awesome and fast, efficient job. The before pics show just how dirty and filled our ducts were. Especially with dog hair. They did fantastic and the after pics really show it. Very friendly, professional and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely recommend to everyone I can. Pricing was excellent and great customer service. They were very flexible with my schedule of availability. Call them to get scheduled and improve performance for your furnace and air. You won't be disappointed! Thank you so much. Difference noted immediately!
