  I have been a customer since 2019 without any bad experiences until today. Booked my yearly winterization and was told over the phone $65. Get my bill and it shows $90. I call to inquire and was told it should not be $90 but $85. Could not tell me why I was told $65 nor honor the $65. $90 is absurd when both of my neighbors are paying $60. I will be looking elsewhere from here on out.

  I had an appointment scheduled for June 25, 2025, between 1:00–5:00 PM. At 4:58 PM, Ron called to inform me that he wouldn't be able to make it and that the office would reschedule me for the following week. We had waited over a month for this appointment, and I spent the entire day waiting—only to be canceled on at the very last minute. No call or reschedule either after the abrupt cancellation. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company; a complete waste of time. UPDATE: I received some texts from Ron, who thought what he did was funny! Sending me laughing bit emojis and thumbs up. Also, claims not to even recall what he did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

  I had used this firm for probably 10 years. About a year ago I had to put in a new well. The sprinkler is fed from a lake. During the well installation the sprinklers were damaged. I told American this and they said they would make repairs. After working on it for about an hour they said it was unrepairable and I would need a whole new zone installed. Their quote over $2100. I looked around all summer and finally found a firm that I felt comfortable with.. they came out the same day I contacted them, found the problem and fixed it. Total cost $443.00.

  Very disappointed! The service tech told me I needed a new “bonnet and poppet” for my vacuum breaker. He told me the old one which was 20 years old needed to be replaced. The original was made of metal and brass and the new one is plastic. They charged me $80.00 for the part alone. I checked on-line after they left and the part retails for only $28.00 and the reviews for the replacement are poor. Most people say to stick with the original brass part. I feel ripped off. The start up and labor to replace a couple of mister heads was over $120.00 and they didn’t even bother to adjust the heads or straighten the heads pointing into the sky. The Technicians were nice guys but I got the impression they are instructed to pad the bill and get done quickly and move on to the next job. I’ve used this company in the past but today will be the last time.
