Some of the employees and managers had attitudes. They all seem really uptight,impatient and rude . A bit robotic and unable to extend any human kindness. You'd swear they were way over worked and under paid . IDK maybe they are. I love World Market, but dislike shopping in the AnnArbor store . Also, if you do a on line store pick up order ,make sure you check the merchandise before leaving the store. Two of my orders were damaged . They bagged the order anyway . I discovered the damage after my hour drive home .

I bought a rug and you’d have sworn I was inconveniencing the manager by asking to purchase it. When the young girl with the multi-colored hair brought the wrong rug to the pickup area and I politely told her, she slammed down the door in my face and snapped, “It’s going to be a while. The manager is busy.” I went back into the store to show her the rug I’d purchased and she was SO rude. She told me the rug I’d described was not “green,” but “teal.” When I met her for a second time in the back, she said the rug would not fit in my car when it clearly would. She let me struggle fitting it in while she watched me, making an almost humorous attempt at helping. I almost couldn’t believe how rude I was treated from start to finish, not to mention that it took painfully long just to get help. Really bad experience.
