Outstanding service at The Brick no competitor came close! Mehtab got us an unbeatable deal on a full kitchen appliance package, including warranty. He’s honest, knowledgeable, driven, and genuinely great to deal with. We’re new homeowners and shopped around all over Winnipeg, and no other store could match the value he delivered. We’ll 100% be back. Do yourself a favor and ask for Mehtab — this guy will get you the best deal. He went far and beyond going through hoops to help us out.
Seriously, ignore the other reviews and find this competent guy and we're not saying this just because we were told to.

Amazing service from Mehtab.
My dishwasher started leaking and electronics went haywire so I started shopping and ended up narrowing it down to a make and series. First two places I went didn’t have what I wanted in stock (2-3 weeks away). I ended up at the Brick. I walked in and was greeted immediately by Mehtab. Friendly, asked great questions, very quickly narrowed down to what I was looking for. Showed us a few, then left us to get up to date inventory info, etc. Knowing we didn’t want to wait for weeks, he wanted to advise me on the best product he could actually supply. When they didn’t have the colour my wife wanted, I left to go home and chat with her, knowing there was only one left. I came back at 11 the next morning. Mehtab informed me that the last one had been sold but he very quickly had a great solution and I left with a similar machine (at a very similar price). When that machine had faulty electronics, Mehtab was calling me and texting me ON HIS DAY OFF to get me a replacement within one day. I went back to the brick and had the defective one out and a new dishwasher in my vehicle in under ten minutes.
Great advice, better service. I will be back.

I must say the experience we had on buying our dining table is an absolute perfection. Moment we step in the store an associate greeted us warmly, walked us through and took the time to really listen to what we were really looking for. Our good friend Karim guided us from product knowledge and different options. What stood out the most was his commitment from start to end, he even thoroughly explained up until the payment transaction and what to know with finance, really felt were in the hands of an expert.
Extremely grateful that he worked dilligently - went above and beyond to get us the delivery appointment that we desired, we deeply appreciate this kind gesture.
Can't thank him enough for making our shopping experience so enjoyable and stress-free especially during the holiday season!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at The Bricks and that’s entirely thanks to Pedro. From the moment we walked in, he was welcoming, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to understand exactly what we’re looking for and never made us feel rushed or pressured. 4/5 ⭐️ honest review for St. James The Brick.
Pros:
1. The main reason for coming to store was to look for some deals on a new washer and dryer appliance. We also wanted to look into some computer chairs, couches/recliners, TVs and just overall have a gander as we have been loyal and repeat customers who have warranty on other grand furniture and/or appliances previously purchased in the recent past. There were indeed many options. Some in/store units were decently priced and shown as discounted.
2. We found a washer and dryer that came as a set and semi-decently priced. Instead of being a price for each individual unit and being more expensive.
Cons:
1. Upon entering the store, both my mother and I were unfortunately not greeted by anyone who was physically and visibly standing by the doors (roughly 3-4 people), this was on an early afternoon on a Sunday. November 30 to be precise.
2. Some of the prices seemed overly ridiculously overpriced and could be purchased elsewhere with higher quality and better customer service right off the bat entering store.
3. The internet/network service was extremely slow and took forever, instead of having our planned visit of going to do our errands of 3-4 different stores that day, we ended up spending almost 3-4 hours in just The Brick alone, which was way too long (this included looking around but immediately finding something we wanted), waiting for someone to assist us/asking someone to assist us, then applying for the paperwork, completing the paperwork, signing and paying for the product and setting up delivery, etc.
Hence, 4/5 ⭐️ for the overall experience - However, on the plus side, the one who helped us a lot was great though, Tina P! She helped to explain thoroughly and guided us throughout the whole process. She showed us different washers and dryers, and even gave us a good deal with delivery expectations being met. She deserves 5/5 ⭐️
On The Brick delivery note, we were told we would receive a text and email the Friday before delivery, which was December 5, we did receive it late around 4:02 pm indicating the window of 10:00 am - 1:00 pm timeframe for the set delivery date the following day. Unfortunately, that window was extended and the delivery ended up coming around 3:00 pm! It felt like a super long wait indeed. The app or website though showed the many stops prior to being the final stop though. On a plus note, the delivery people (two gentlemen, forgot their names sorry!) were great though bringing in the washer and dryer units into the home and did not scratch anything, which is awesome considering how heavy the 2 units were and how safely and efficiently they used their weight belt straps to carry it in.
