11/16/25, aroun 2pm. I saw about 7 sales associates and nobody greeted us. I felt so bad because of the way they looked at us that I will never got there again. So if you are Hispanic don't go in there

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had — mainly because of the Preston Highway Value City team: Spencer, Dawn, and Hannah.
I ordered the Hazel bedroom set in early March and was promised a March 26 delivery. The day before, I was suddenly told the bed wouldn’t arrive — and no one mentioned the dresser and mirror wouldn’t show up either. The pieces that did arrive were defective, with a broken chest and sticky residue on the furniture.
I canceled the Hazel set and ordered the Lincoln set. That’s when dealing with Spencer, Hannah, and Dawn at the Preston Highway store became a complete nightmare.
Spencer repeatedly told me my order was fixed, but every confirmation email was still wrong. He promised call-backs that never happened, gave delivery dates that weren’t true, and constantly contradicted himself. He lied multiple times and refused to take responsibility for anything.
Hannah, another manager, was also no help. She didn’t solve anything, dismissed my concerns, and added to the frustration instead of resolving it.
And Dawn, the general manager, avoided me for days. Every time I came in, she was “in a meeting.” I even called ahead to confirm she was available, but when I arrived, she still refused to speak with me. For a GM, she showed zero professionalism and zero willingness to help.
On top of that, every time I called and spoke with Customer Service, I had to deal with Jewl, who was incredibly rude, short, and unhelpful.
The only helpful person throughout this entire ordeal was Monet from Value City customer service. She explained that she had to escalate my order three separate times because the Preston Highway store had messed it up so badly. Even she said the order was a disaster — but ultimately she told me that only the store could resolve delivery and compensation.
After months of lies, zero communication, and constant run-around from Spencer, Hannah, Dawn, and rude treatment from Jewl, I finally canceled the entire order. It was so messed up they had to issue two separate refunds just to fix the mess.
Avoid the Preston Highway Value City at all costs. Their management team showed horrible customer service, no accountability, and no interest in helping customers.

I picked up my couch in September 6th 2025 one of the feet was missing from the set. I was told it would be ordered and sent to my home. A month gose by and still nothing. Weekly calls and i been told multiple different things from it will be sent to my home with 2 day shipping to having to reship and then being told they have to reorder and for me to pick up from store. 2 months and still nothing.
