- WHWhitley HestonOct 23, 20251.0PSA! Don’t be fooled by this company. One of the absolute worst customer service interactions I’ve ever had. Called Howies for a fridge/freezer repair, they came out did a diagnosis on it, replaced a “bad part” only for it not to be the issue. So we called back and the guy came back out and said we need a different part, but it would take 2 weeks to get it in. I patiently waited the whole time. Only to never hear from them! Zero communication whatsoever and the “assistant” or secretary that answers the phone is an absolute joke. She has zero grasp of the work orders or the customers they are dealing with. We continued to reach out in hopes to just hear something at all and they blocked our phone calls and never responded. 0/10. Terrible.

They said they needed to order a part but had gotten it to the point where I could use it temporarily until the part came. I tried to use it that night and it would’ve even turn on. I called them to let them know and they said they’d send a tech out right away. A few days passed with no communication and I reached out for an update and was told the part was still a few days out. The next week they still hadn’t reached out to me and now were refusing to answer my calls or texts. A truly terrible experience for what I was told was a “simple fix”. It is shocking this company is still in business if this is how they treat paying customers.

They come out and diagnose my double oven issue, and charge me a service fee, and then never return phone calls. They have completely ghosted me. Their voicemail says they are now also operating under another name too. Just don't fall for their scam like the rest of us have.

I did some research and previous customers had similar experiences. My family of 5 has gone without a washer for a month waiting on the business to fix it.
