It's clean. I have never personally seen a human employee at this site. I know that there must be someone who stops by to overlook people's units(they do not however remove them, literally a part of their job in my opinion. The entrance is very hard to see at night.
There are pot holes all over the parking lot, I've lost ideas in some of them.
So it seems to be an absentee owner situation unless you owe them money.
To be fair a few times Alex has answered the phone, and has been helpful.

I purchased a storage unit over the summer to throw a few things in and I moved everything out by the end of August. There was minor water damage with a few items stored in the unit. But I was surprised to get automatically billed for another month, as I was unaware that was even a feature. I contacted the facility about looking to get a refund, as the unit was moved out and ready to rent again, and I didn't want to pay for a unit that I didn't want nor need, but support has been less than helpful. It's been weeks now and it feels like I am being stonewalled at every opportunity. It's never a yes or no, it's always a I'll get back to you, and they never do.
Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the support given and will not be renting from here again. The high pressure to leave a positive review also wasn't very a great experience, especially on my first day at the facility before I even got my unit.

I stopped by the Davenport unit one day last week and there is no one in the office at the time.. I had cleared out one of my units and want to cancel the rental on that unit, Stopped by this morning (Tuesday, September 2nd) and met with Gary (manager) and got everything taken care of without any problems. Did not realize Gary was in the storage area cleaning and securing other units when I stopped and I was missing him on my visit. Just wanted to say since Lockbox has taken over operation of the business things are much cleaner and Gary has been very helpful in every encounter I have had. I have had three (3) units there for over four (4) years now and this is the best it has been under the new ownership and Gary's management! Highly recommend Lockbox to anyone looking for a climate controlled storage facility! Thanks again for all that you do for me and my family knowing our possession are safe and secure.

Just picked up my boxes from a 10x20 unit i’ve only had for a month as interm storage during a move only to be surprised with all sorts of roaches in all of my boxes, totes & bags.

My problem isn’t the facility as much as the “management”. Gary is incredibly rude and leaves A LOT to be desired in the customer service side of things. Whether it was surprise fees and charges that couldn’t be explained, items going missing from my unit, or just being hung up, Gary checks all of the boxes. This place just changed management recently and I think it’s more than safe to say it will happen again very soon. Gary, I would genuinely consider a different career because customer service and running a business are definitely both areas you could do significantly better in. I would stay VERY FAR AWAY from this place until someone competent takes over. It’s worth noting last time I went to my unit, over half of the units have overlocks. Sure it could be all past due units, but there is clearly some mismanagement here. Don’t fall for the other 5 star reviews.
