I purchased a new Wellis Kilimanjaro spa from this dealer 04-19-2025. When the spa was delivered 06-24-2025, wooden slats from the side panels were falling off and out on all sides of the tub. The delivery guy told me that the tub is under warranty, and if there are issues, the panels would be covered. As time went on more and more wooden slats kept falling out of all sides. I could only assume these wooden slats were attached to the back of the side panels to give them stability and keep the panels from warping but they were only attached to the back of the panels with some weak staples that barely penetrated the plastic panels. When I finally got the electric hooked up and filled the spa with water, I called the dealer to come out and set the spa up which was part of the purchase agreement. When the salesman showed up on 07-17-2025, I again mentioned the wooden slats falling out, so he took one of the panels and tried to hammer them back on. That was his fix and all he did for the set up. The purchase agreement was to also include all initial chemicals to start up and he only left me an opened and mostly used bottled of ph down, mostly used bottle of test strips, and a half-used package of safrax. Days after he left, more slats fell out, a foot jet was not working, some lights were not working, and our water was cloudy. The dealer sent out a technician 08-01-2025 to diagnose the problems and he found a bad string of lights, a control module that wasn't working, a hose that was pinched on the foot jet, and he recommended replacing the 4 panels on the spa. Since he was going to have to drain the spa to fix things, I told him to wait until all parts were available so he could fix everything at one time. After me having to follow up many times on the progress of where we were in getting these items to fix the spa, they finally scheduled a day to do the service on 08-21-2025. The day the technician came to do the service, he showed up with only 2 panels that he told me they pulled off a floor model. I told him I didn't want nor would I accept used panels and he was supposed to have 4 new panels. He fixed the other issues but said he would have to order the new panels. The dealer is and was terrible with communication and I had to initiate all correspondence to get any updates. After many attempts to get updates, on 09-18-2025 I wanted to also get some replacement filters for the tub so I would have backups. Stopping by the store, they didn’t have any filters as they told me Wellis switched the filters from an older version and the newer version were not available to them. At the same time, they told me that the 4 panels were on order and should be arriving soon. Checking back with them on 10-14-2025 I was again told they should be on a truck and available soon. I was getting tired of the lies and run around so I requested the contact info for the owner of the store and reached out to him to get some answers. After the initial contact with the owner and him promising that he would take care of the issue, I couldn’t get any more answers from him and he stopped responding. I waited till 11-17-2025 for the owner to respond, and when he didn’t, I looked up the contact information for customer service on the Wellis website and sent them an email explaining the issues I had with the dealer and their hot tub.
