    Horrible customer service from Thane. I'm not going to waste my time describing the rudeness and arrogance of Thane as I know the complaint will go nowhere. Your store used to just give me the creeps but now I have a solid reason to never step in there again!

    Have been to this store 3 times in the past few months and every time there is no customer service at all. Lots of lazy workers avoiding eye contact not offering help. This last time customer service was called twice for the department and both times nobody showed up. Please hire some young energetic youth that want to work and serve the public cause the older staff you have now do not help customers. Not just this once it’s now three times. Walked out and will never be back. You lost my business and many others. I’m not one to complain but as a woman in the customer service industry this is unacceptable in any organization.

    Shot out to Brent and Chaz in the lumber department! Extremely helpful. They help me cut my lumber to perfection and always seem to be glad to help. Very inviting and save me alot of dust! A breath of fresh air compared to going to home depot. Terrible service there, if you can get it.

    Went to a Kelowna RONA branch where 2 sewer pumps were in stock according to the info online. They could not find either ,and actually told me at that point that they already knew they were missing. I was told to order on line, so I went online and ordered the pump for delivery. Delivery estimate was one day. I allowed 3 days in my mind to be safe and had contractors arranged for the install and a pouring of a concrete floor which is dependent upon the pump being there. 5 days later my online order still says "processing" I emailed customer service during that wait and apparently the pump is coming from the Penticton store which is about an hour drive away. No one knows why it is not shipped, and the Penticton store says Purolator has not picked it up? um, they pick up if you call them to pick up. Contacted customer service again and they say to call Penticton RONA if i need more info, but they do not know why it is still there. So I called the Penticton store. No answer. I called 4 times between 8:30 and 8:45 am with 20 or 30 runs through on each call trying each department with no one picking up the phone at any extension (I tried them all). I left messages with no call return. I have never in my life experienced this level of incompetency and total disregard for customer service. if i could leave a negative number I would, as RONA does not deserve even a rating of one if this is indicative of their customer service level. They really need to review or replace their business model and senior management if they cannot plan coverage to the point where they do not even have staff to answer the phone, return a call, or ship a simple order. I am very unhappy and this has caused me several thousand dollars in contractor costs due to RONA not holding up their end of the transaction.

    We ordered and paid for an over the range microwave at the store and said that we pick it up at the store. After one month, I called to ask where the microwave was. The person at the appliance said that if I have to waite longer since I didn't paid for it to be delivered to my home. All the trucks need to be emptied before they can find out where our microwave is. I have never heard of such a absurd excuse. I don't want to pay 70 dollars for some one to bring my microwave to my home.
