    I have been buying furniture from The Brick for years, but this time was absolutely terrible. My dining table and coffee table paint started changing color and peeling in a very short time. Clearly poor quality. I reported the issue and they sent a technician who was completely useless. Without any proof, he said I must have put something hot on it, which is 100% not true. Instead of taking responsibility, they make up excuses.The technician was unprofessional and talking nonsense, just trying to blame the customer instead of admitting the product is defective. This is cheap quality furniture with zero accountability. Very disappointed. I won’t trust The Brick again.

    We recently purchased several pieces of furniture from The Brick Coquitlam. While the furniture itself is excellent and something we truly love, the customer service experience was deeply disappointing. The manager in training who assisted us, Peyman Mahmoudian, was almost entirely focused on selling an extended warranty. Regardless of what we asked for help with, the conversation repeatedly returned to the warranty. Clear refusals were not accepted, and the pressure continued throughout the interaction. It was exhausting and made the experience unnecessarily stressful and EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT. More concerning was that after the purchase, additional insurance related charges appeared on the Flexiti card we used, without clear explanation or explicit consent. This was only discovered later and had to be cancelled independently. That lack of transparency was unsettling. Once the sale was completed, there was little interest in providing further assistance. We needed a printed receipt and were left waiting without guidance. The front desk staff did not acknowledge the wait or indicate that help would be coming. Ultimately, a manager had to be approached just to obtain a basic receipt. To be clear, the furniture itself is the positive part of this experience. Unfortunately, the sales approach, lack of transparency around financing add ons, and poor post sale support significantly detracted from what should have been a straightforward purchase. The Brick Coquitlam would benefit greatly from reviewing its sales pressure practices and customer care standards. 1 star out 5 from myself and my husband. Never again.
