I have had a truly wonderful experience today at The Brick!!! JULIE was wonderful, kind, knowledgeable, patient and not demanding re my washing machine and stacker purchase!!! Her genuine smile was assuring too, and step by step she led my hand until the transaction was completed!! Julie has the "IT" factor for sure, and now I am planning to return to her a few days from now with my daughter to buy a bed!!!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We went in confused about the which bed to buy within our budget as choices are unlimited in the store. But we received help from Gulshan who really listened to what we were looking for and suggested us the best options available. Will recommend everyone to ask for Gulshan once you are in the store.

The experience with The Brick started off good. The showroom visit was positive and Mehdi was pleasant initially, which gave us confidence in making a $3,000 sectional purchase.
Unfortunately, there were issues afterward. There were two delivery attempts, the wrong item was ordered, and during delivery the delivery team got the chaise piece dirty, leaving visible algae/mold, which is unacceptable for brand-new furniture. We were also told a cleaning kit would be included, but it was not provided at delivery.
That said, Britney was very helpful and resolved the issue by providing the cleaning kit and arranging a replacement chaise piece. While we appreciate her help, the process overall was frustrating and could have been handled much better.

We spent over 10K at this store, we talked with Julie, which, initially seemed like a good experience but as we looked at our bill, we noticed that there was warranty on items we did not need or want the warranty on. We discussed this with Julie that we wanted warranty on specific items and not on everything. ALSO, we purchased a mattress and Julie told us that if we want the brick warranty, we need to purchase a mattress protector from the brick, so we did. She sold is the more expensive brand, not telling us they had a cheaper brand, AND only to read on the bricks website that you DO NOT NEED to purchase a mattress protector from the brick, that you can indeed get it elsewhere as long as you keep the receipt.. we spent over $250 on 2 mattress protectors, when we could have got them cheaper from somewhere else.
We have been trying to get our money back for warranty for over a month now and still have not received our money back.
Very disappointed.

Very professional, timely and friendly delivery drivers. Sales at the Brick was also very good.
The only thing I didn’t like was the slight pressure to buy an area rug that I didn’t want or need, but it would have been a $200 credit on the order (for rugs valued over $200). Aside from that I liked the selection and environment at the Brick. I would recommend this store.
I chose the sofa (pictured in grey at the Brick) in a dark brown colour. It works well in my studio apartment and I am happy with the purchase.
*** one final note - negotiate your purchase price! The sofa had a $2000 price tag with a 20% sale discount. I asked for a better price and was able to get free delivery ($89) plus a free 5-yr warranty ($254 value), and after taxes it came to $1800. I had a $2000 budget so this landed exactly where I wanted it.

Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
