One of this companies employees started tailgating and flipping me off on the 101 freeway at 10:40 am 8/7/25. I was already going 80mph (15 over the speed limit) and apparently that wasn’t fast enough for him. He tried to cut in front of me but there wasn’t enough room so he slowed down, got next to me and swerved at my truck then continued to flip me off. When there was enough room he sped up going at least 95mph and continued cutting through traffic driving recklessly. I would NEVER want someone with this attitude and lack of self control anywhere near my home providing a service. 10/10 would NOT recommend this company.

Professional and nice young man.
I have been using East Valley Weed Control for a few years now, having them take care of my property 1.25 acres.
They do a very complete and professional job. It allows me the weekends to do what I want, rather than taking care of the weeds on my place. Great company and reasonable price.
Frequently Asked Questions About East Valley Weed Control
What types of weeds do you treat?
Our weed control services address a wide variety of common weeds found in the Mesa, AZ area. We tailor our treatment approach based on the specific types of weeds present on your property.
Is this treatment safe for pets and children?
When used according to the manufacturer's specifications and applied properly, the product is safe for pets and children to access treated areas once it has dried.
Do you use dye for weed control?
Our standard weed control treatments do not include dye. However, we can incorporate dye into our products upon request if you prefer this option.
Do you remove weeds or just treat them?
We don't remove weeds at this time; instead, we treat your property to reduce weed growth and kill weeds currently present. For the treatment to be effective, the leaves need to remain intact. However, if your weeds are a foot or taller, multiple treatments will be required to fully eliminate them.
How soon will the weeds die after treatment?
With proper application, you can expect to see results within a couple of weeks. Warmer weather accelerates this process. However, it's important not to kill the weeds too quickly, as this may allow the roots to survive, preventing full eradication.
Do you offer organic or natural weed control options?
We do have organic options, but we have not found them to be as effective as other products. Therefore, we cannot offer a 6-month warranty on organic treatments.
How long should I wait before mowing my lawn?
Please wait 3 days before mowing the grass.
How soon can I water after treatment?
Do not water the grass for 24 hours after treatment. Within a week, you should water the lawn with ¼ to ½ inch of water.
Will this kill the grass too?
If our chemical mix is sprayed on Bermuda grass, it may cause temporary yellowing for a couple of weeks. It would take many treatments to kill Bermuda grass.
Do you guarantee weeds won’t return?
We offer a 6-month warranty on our treatments. While we cannot guarantee that weeds will not grow, if you notice any weed growth within 6 months, simply call our office to schedule a respray.
How often do I need treatments?
Once every 6 months for a beautiful, weed-free yard.
What’s the difference between your service and store-bought weed killers?
Only licensed professionals can purchase and apply the commercial-grade herbicides we use. We also add adjuvants—additives designed to enhance the effectiveness of herbicides—so they last longer and work more efficiently to reduce weed growth and kill weeds currently growing.
Can you treat my yard, if it just rained?
Yes, as long as there is no standing water.
How long does the treatment last?
Our treatment lasts approximately 6 months.
Do I need to do anything before or after you come?
Please pick up any children’s and pet toys, as well as pet waste. Also, if you have layers of leaves on the ground, these can reduce the treatment’s effectiveness by blocking it from reaching the soil.
Will I need multiple treatments for resistant weeds?
Depending on the severity and type of resistant weeds, multiple treatments may be necessary.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No contracts—just great service!
What happens if it rains right after the treatment?
Consider nature doing half the work for you because if you are lucky enough to get rain after the treatment, you no longer need to water the product.
Will weeds die immediately?
Quickly killing weeds on the surface sounds appealing, but we intentionally mix chemicals that slow the process to ensure the entire weed, including the roots, dies. This process can take 5–14 days, depending on the season.
