I was looking for blinds here and I was utterly disappointed. This is my 3rd Rona location visit hoping to find the blinds I needed or get help cutting them to my size and the staff were of no use. I asked for help in the Decor Isle and someone eventually showed up after I asked for a 2nd time. The person has no uniform or credentials showing they work at the store and didn’t know much about Decor. The Decor staff finally showed up and seemed lazy that he didn’t want to cut the blinds I wanted to buy. Instead he discouraged me from buying those and insisted I buy a different type with a different color (though right size) and he said to try it and if it works to come back and buy more. I also asked for help for curtains. The staff without store credentials tried to help me find the ones I wanted, but everything was so disorganized and barely exist on the shelf. He eventually said the types I wanted were discontinued hence not being in stock.
I eventually left with just the blind which was the exact size as my window, but with no buffer room, and I it wouldn’t fit into my window. I returned to a Rona near West Edmonton Mall. That location was also helpless that I got so frustrated that I resorted to buying curtains for every room (except the kitchen). I then went to Home Depot to get some blinds hoping I’d get some. The experience was day and night there. The Home Depot staff (near West Edmonton Mall 99 Ave) were so helpful that they just took my measurements and cut me all the sizes I needed. The staff were so pleasant and attentive to details that I just returned all of the curtains back to Rona and just got everything from Home Depot who deserves my $500+. I’m never going Rona for anything as long and Home Depot has it. If Rona continues this way they’ll be forced to close their doors pretty soon here. Employees have no customer service training in both Calgary and Edmonton, and the right staff is never around.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. Yes, we offer a delivery service. All products can be shipped by parcel their delivery is free with any $49 and more purchase. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. You will need to bring your "Ready for Pick-up" email with you as proof of purchase. This notice includes a copy of your consumer agreement. You should keep it in your records for future reference.
When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?

How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA+ location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
