    I had a great experience at the RONA store at CrossIron. The store was great. What really stood out was the customer service. Kathlyn was especially helpful. She took the time to answer my questions and made sure I found exactly what we needed. My father cannot speak English, and she was very patient, understanding, and helpful with him. It made the whole shopping experience much more pleasant, and I would definitely recommend this store to my friends and would visit again because of her great customer service.

    Subject: Poor Customer Service Experience – Request for Assistance Refused This morning I visited the RONA location to purchase a laundry room sink valued at approximately $400. At the checkout, I politely asked if someone could assist me with loading the sink into my truck due to its size and weight. I was told that assistance would only be provided if I brought my truck directly to the front doors. I explained that my truck was parked in the online delivery parking area, which is very close and just across the front lane. I even offered to push the cart to my truck myself if someone could simply help lift the sink, but this was still refused. What made the situation worse was that a manager walked by and said something to the cashier that I felt was inappropriate and disrespectful toward me as a customer. This left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. I find this confusing and disappointing, especially since there are signs outside indicating that customers can “push a button for help,” and staff already go into the parking lot to retrieve carts. Given this, I do not understand why reasonable assistance could not be provided when I asked politely. I left the store feeling angry and frustrated, and due to this negative experience and refusal to help, I will not be returning to this location. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as customer service should reflect respect, courtesy, and a willingness to help.

    This branch is a living example of why Rona keeps losing business and shutting down. It took me 10 minutes talking to them to explain that I selected e-receipt when I checked out cos they refused to return an item without printing receipt. Every simple transaction here is pain in the neck. There is absolutely no reason to come and shop here! I would go for the Home Depot option any day over this. Also, do they ever clean the snow here?

    I wanna say a huge thank you to Shelley in the seasonal department. We came looking for a specific garland we found on the website and all though they didn’t have any in the store Shelley was phenomenal in helping us contact another store and made sure we were able to find what we were looking for. She was so friendly and helpful and I would definitely go back because of Shelley!
