We went into the store with a mission to buy a tv. We request someone knowledgeable . Michael Goodge certainly did. Smart, funny and very professional. Exactly what we wanted. Didn’t take long. To bad we have to wait a few days because they had none in stock, but the experience was great. When our huge TV dies we will for sure see what Michael can get for us. We will spread this nice experience with all our friends and family.

Exceptional service from Max the sales person at The Brick that we dealt with at the Red Deer location. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and showed all options that we could choose from. The Brick called me shortly after Id placed my order online to let me know they had my item in stock and could arrange an earlier delivery, which was amazing nearly a week off my wait time! The item was supposed to be coming from a States wearhouse I think.
The delivery people were courteous and super polite! They even have a link you get sent to you know when they should show up, super handy for weekday deliverys. All in all great experience

He walked me through several options, pointing out key features like mattress quality, frame durability, and easy-open mechanisms. I ended up choosing a sleek grey sofa bed with a pull-out queen—perfect blend of comfort and functionality. Max even showed me how it works in-store so there were no surprises.

Dear Darci Walker,
Beyond my own experience, I have spoken with many people who say they will never shop at The Brick again because of the same terrible warranty service. I now fully understand why — and I will be joining them.
The reviews of King & State are appalling:

On RedFlagDeals, one customer said:
“I have difficulty getting Warranty Company King & State to respond to phone calls. I spend countless hours waiting on hold only to be ignored.”
Another wrote on Reddit:
“Finally, after months of multiple service calls, the warranty company had to give us credit … I refused to buy the extended warranty again.”
These are not isolated reviews — they are a reflection of a systemic, ongoing problem.
It is embarrassing that a Canadian company of your size and reputation continues to partner with such a poorly rated and unresponsive provider. Canadians today have many other options, and if this is how The Brick stands behind its products, you will continue to lose loyal customers like myself.
I would like this rectified immediately. I expect:
Full review and resolution of my outstanding warranty claims (LG fridge compressor, dryer, and washing machine).
Clear communication on what The Brick is doing to hold King & State accountable.
Consideration of compensation for the out-of-pocket expenses and extended inconvenience I have endured.
If this matter is not addressed promptly and seriously, I will make it known publicly through multiple reviews across all major platforms, detailing my experience and warning others not to shop at The Brick. I have already spoken with others who plan to do the same.
I have spent thousands of dollars with your company, but I will not do so again unless there is a real commitment to fixing this. I want to support a Canadian company — but if this is how you stand behind your customers, shame on you.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
