  Nice enough place but their care prices skyrocket once they have your loved one! I was told that the price you sign off on as part of the lease is " an estimate" and that cost hikes are effective immediately! I've had suggested increases of over $2000 and my loved one has only been there 3 days!

  When a family begins the sad and stressful process of picking the right facility for their loved one, your thoughts are filled with questions of how the care will be. Will it be personal and will they value your family and what you share about your family? My sister did the initial footwork of looking into multiple facilities and we agreed that Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI was the best fit for our brother with memory issues. Brookdale is a smaller 15 bed facility that we immediately felt comfortable with. They took time to listen to us so they could get to know our brother as a person and more than just as a patient and took great care in personalizing our brother’s care. From the business person, to the nurse, the executive director, and the entire staff are a compliment to each other always patient and family focused. Brookdale says that they look at their residents as family, and I would have to say that I couldn’t agree more. Because of the intimacy of a smaller facility, they really have come to know our brother and all the residents at a personal level. From creative delicious food to the amazing recreation director a personalized inclusive approach is always part of the decision making process. I could go on, but I will close in saying that I would encourage anyone facing the difficult task of looking at care facilities for their loved one, I would give Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI, your first look. There really is loving professional care at all levels.

  As an RN Case Manager for a local hospice agency (Madison), I can assure you, this facility is top notch. Everyone from the Executive Director, Amy Neal to facility staff providing care(s) for the residents, are friendly, kind, and compassionate people. I am at this Assisted Living Facility twice a week or more to see my patients and I enjoy being present to witness the love they all have for their residents! I highly recommend them for your loved one(s) when the time comes.

  Resident's get abused there staff sleeps on noc shift . cares dont get done .

  Used to be an amazing building , but its absolutely horrible how the residents are treated there now . boxes holding residents beds up and residents getting bed sores because theyre constantly soiled, they do not getting properly changed or changed at all . horrible . new staff isnt properly trained. Ur better off leaving ur parents at home . upper management is only about how many beds they can fill and profit off of. They say they care about the residents but they dont because ive called the ethic line multiple times and nothing has been done except for me getting retaliated against for it . they dont care about them , only the Money and its sad. All the family members know I love and always wanted whats best for their parents and this isnt it.
