Max was one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people that I’ve come across. Truly cares about helping you and has a passion for it. Having small fiber neuropathy I was able to respond to scrambler but unfortunately couldn’t get it to last. He stayed true to his word and did not charge for the service. Although it didn’t work for me I recommend Max to anyone in some sort of nerve pain as he will do everything he can to help. Thank you for everything.

While most reviews praise the merits of Scrambler, I choose to praise the merits of the professional providing the therapy. Calmare Scrambler is, without a doubt, one of the best treatments for chronic pain available today. It is non-invasive, drug free and painless. Scrambler is somewhat new on the horizon and I suspect many unqualified individuals will make claim to be experts in the field. This is not true, only a select few professionals are expertly trained in this procedure. Dr. Max Wesenberg DPT, is one of those few. Dr. Max has he been using Scrambler therapy for years and, additionally, received his intensive training, in Rome, by the creator of the device, a rare commodity that exemplifies his dedication to erridacate pain for all sufferers. Individuals attuned to the medical field will agree that any device alone is useless unless the provider has the capacity to work WITH the patient, using the appropriate modality. Max is just that person. Dr. Max is highly educated and trained, he exemplifies compassion, dignity and diligence. With Max you quickly realize he understands the cause of your pain and knows where to begin the treatment process. His youngish physical appearance belies his solid knowledge, experience and true determination to help those he serves. Dr. Max's calm, laid back demeanor provides comfort to his patients in a relaxing environment, reassuring us that he is the ultimate evidence based provider in pain relief, which he, alone, is. Yet he is ego free. There are and will be other medical professionals offering Calmare Scrambler, but those of us who experience chronic pain would be fools to seek out these "newbies". I was referred to Dr. Max by a New Jersey provider who cited him as the only person with the knowledge, skills and ability to adequately use this therapy in the Midwest. Max's patients come from the entire U.S., Canada and, I believe, foreign countries to be treated by him and him alone. I was fortunate to live only hours from his clinic, but, given his outstanding reputation, I would have traveled the world to be seen by him. Medical treatment with the wrong provider is a devastating, heartbreaking waste of time and money. Dr. Max Wesenberg guarantees you will find relief - something you won't find in a wannabe. He is the consummate professional who believes in what is probably the best treatment for chronic pain available. Words alone cannot express my appreciation for the relief provided by Dr. Max Wesenberg, DPT in Oshkosh, WI. He is without peers and he delivers.

I have CRPS in my right foot and leg from the knee down caused by my nerve being cut by an anesthesiologist administering a nerve block. I showed signs of a responder, feeling exhausted after the first treatment. He also added magnets, one to my heel that always felt like it was being sliced by razor blades, and one to the top of my foot by the 3 toes that hadn’t moved in the 22 months I’ve had this dreadful condition. It feels like there’s a thick iron bar inside my foot, spanning across my toes. I also felt like my foot was full of barbed wire and on fire, in a fire pit of glass shards. On the 2nd treatment Max added Neux, which boosted the relief of paresthesia, which isn’t gone but has diminished from feeling it 24/7 to randomly through the day. I was pain free after day 2 for the most part, with slight pain of around 2 at the heights but lived around a .5 due to the parenthesia. We also agreed to be a little more aggressive so I could hopefully finish in fewer treatments. He continued that protocol for the remainder of treatments. I was totally exhausted after day 2, and day 3, but I could start to move a toe that was basically dead. After day 4 I did gain a little more movement in 2 toes, but my pain came screaming back to about an 8, so we backed down on day 5, and I was back to the .5! And day 6 I was still pain free and could move all 3 toes. After treatment I still had the paresthesia so we agreed I would stop there so I can continue working on diminishing the paresthesia over the next few months and then return for another round. Max’s knowledge and drive to aid his patients in becoming pain free and symptom free is remarkable ❤️ I learned so much from him, and came home with a new lease on life and homework that I look forward to 😎 I’m also looking forward to my follow up visit in a couple months.
