4th Dimension Recovery Centers is a rehabilitation center providing Southeast Wisconsin with a safe, structured and supportive environment for those seeking sober living.
Being apart of 4th Dimension Sobriety was the only thing that worked for me to get sober after years of trying to do it on my own. My time here was life changing and will be forever grateful.

Frequently Asked Questions About 4th Dimension Recovery Centers
What is a clinically based sober living program?
We pair our sober living house with our outpatient treatment center to offer as many modes of recovery as we can for you to see what works best for you. Our sober living home is 12-step recovery-based, and our outpatient center treats both substance use disorder and mental health. The goal of a clinically based sober living program is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in recovery to transition back into society while continuing to receive the necessary support and guidance to prevent relapse.
How long is your program?
We have a 3-month and 6-month sober living option. Our outpatient services are dependent on the need for each client, and there is no predetermined amount of time for an individual’s course of treatment.
Does insurance cover sober living?
Insurance does not cover the cost of sober living. There is a separate cost of housing. You may be eligible for county funding for our 6-month program. If approved, the county could cover 90 days of your stay.
What does insurance cover?
Our outpatient treatment facility accepts insurance and is paired with a 3-month clinically-based sober living program.
Can I live at home and still receive treatment? Or do I have to stay at your sober living house?
You do not have to live in one of our sober living homes. We have outpatient treatment options for people who wish to live at home and still engage in therapy.
Do I have to stay the full 3 months in the sober living house?
No. It is recommended, but not mandatory. The amount of time is specifically crafted to produce the highest success rate, so it is encouraged to complete the stay, but not required to enter the program.
What is the difference between sober living and residential treatment?
A residential program provides everything all under one roof, where you eat, where you sleep, where you receive clinical services. You don’t need to leave the building for any reason while in a residential program. Sober living is a structured environment that provides more freedom to enrich your program of recovery, such as going to work or spending time with your family, while still providing a safe space to return to each night.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking cigarettes and vaping are permitted. There are designated outdoor areas where this needs to be done.
