This facility has very much gone downhill since my first time being inpatient there. All the therapists that were there the first time I was there were now all gone including rec/occupational therapists, MANY of the BHAs were either fired or quit. The amount of times I had to see people getting booty juiced was insane and traumatizing even if I couldn’t see them, the escalation was crazy. I got shamed and humaliated by the guy nurse dan( the bald one) he needs to learn to be more professional or stick with adults because that’s not okay. The groups need to have a bigger variety than the same theme every week. The mattresses are horrible, worse than every other facility’s I’ve been to, and you can’t see outside.

This place is horrible!! I’ve had 3 inpatient stays at other facilities and this one was the worse by far! Staff were not helpful and rude. It smelt very bad in the cafeteria and in the unit. It was very echoey in the rooms. I was in the adolescent unit and Rakeem and Karmen were the worst bha and nurse ever!!! Never go to this place. Made my depression worst day by day in there

It's the fifth psychiatric facility I've been to, and I had more one-on-one time with providers and nurses than anywhere else. Meal times are way too short, and they don't stock enough low-calorie drinks. The air conditioning is set a bit too high for a lot of people. The whole place smells kind of bad. They cancelled my Uber from the facility to my home mid-trip so the driver had to put in a ticket with Uber customer support. Not very professional if you ask me. I did have a couple of experiences with rude staff. But not the nurses or medical providers, who were very empathetic and attentive. It's good to have a bunch of spare beds available like this.

This place was ABSOLUTELY HORIBLE I have had 8 different inpatient stays at other hospitals and this one is the worst by far. Staff are absolutely awful. They don’t give a flip about any of the patients besides Danielle (therapist) she was so kind and respectful but I feel like she was way to overworked because she barley had time to talk to me and when she did fat to talk to me she didn’t even get to finish our conversation because she had to go call my social worker (from outside of the hospital) and I was told that Danielle was trying to call my social worker and she did end up talking to her but a lot of the time she said that my social worker wasn’t responding to her but when I got out of the hi my social worker said that she tried calling the hospital multiple times but they wouldn’t answer overall communication was terrible. And my discharge was also an issue they would not tell my dad anything about my discharge and would keep changing my discharge day even though I was ready to leave. On my first day I was picking at my scabs and they didn’t even notice until a girl told on me. And then they held me down and they told me I had to take a pill or get a shot and I didn’t choose so they made me take a shot and than made me go to bed and I slept for the rest of the day. But when this other girl was actually self harming they just let her and didn’t care. Also there were a lot of people sneaking into others rooms and no staff would know. And people were sa’d and sometimes we would either be locked IN our rooms or locked OUT of our rooms. And one time there was a girl having a panic attack in the cafeteria and the staff just ignored here and did nothing overall I do not recommend

Miramont Behavioral Health was the most unsafe and neglectful facility I have ever encountered. Their negligence and deliberate indifference caused me significant physical and mental harm. My basic needs were ignored, safety policies weren’t followed, and requests for help were met with hostility or indifference. Avoid this place if you value proper care, your safety/health and basic human respect.
