I had to find a new dentist, called and I was in to see Dr Wozniak within days. She was fantastic, makes you feel like you are her only patient. Her assistance, Brooke and Maddie were fabulous. This was the first time I sat in a dentist chair and relaxed and didn’t squeeze the chair arms, told Maddie I was not tense at all, the best dental visit I have ever had.

They got me scheduled fast, brought me back before my scheduled time, great personal care by all staff from the front desk, to the assistant, to the doctor. I felt comfortable and confident with my care being in the hands of Maddie and doctor. It was really calming to my nerves to have Maddie and doctor talking while working on me. I will always be going here. Thank you for the excellent care!

Frequently Asked Questions About Great Blue Dental
Do you take my insurance?
At Great Blue Dental, we collaborate with numerous insurance providers to optimize your benefit utilization within a given benefit year. We offer a complimentary benefits assessment during your visit to determine your coverage. Please note that certain plans, including state insurance through Badgercare/ForwardHealth, Medicaid, and Medicare, do not cover services with our dentists. We encourage you to contact us to schedule an appointment and obtain more information.
Why do you recommend sealants on adults?
At Great Blue Dental, we often recommend sealants for any tooth that could benefit from this preventative measure. Our goal is to protect vulnerable teeth from developing cavities and requiring fillings in the future. Each tooth is unique, so we collaborate with patients to identify which teeth would benefit most from sealants. It's important to understand that we approach tooth protection consistently, regardless of age. Our dentists aim to prevent decay in both primary (baby) and permanent (adult) teeth equally.
Why would my dental hygienist recommend fluoride to me?
Fluoride varnish application serves as a protective barrier that strengthens teeth between regular dental visits, similar to sealants. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral with proven clinical efficacy in cavity prevention. Our dentists are available to address any additional questions you may have regarding fluoride treatments.
When should my child's first dental appointment be?
In accordance with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry guidelines, we recommend scheduling your child's first dental visit within six months of their first tooth's eruption, or no later than their first birthday. Following this initial visit, we advise maintaining a proper home care routine and scheduling dental examinations and cleanings with our dentists every six months. We invite you to contact us to establish a trusted family dental care relationship.
Are dental x-rays necessary for me to have a cleaning?
At Great Blue Dental, we maintain high standards of care in compliance with state regulations. X-rays are essential for accurate diagnosis of all patients. New patients may have recent images transferred from their previous dentist by sending them to office@greatbluedental.com prior to their initial visit. We will inform you if additional images are required. These images are crucial for proper treatment, diagnosis, and planning, enabling our dentists to provide optimal care.
Do you offer a cash, senior, or military discount?
We offer an in-office dental savings plan for patients without insurance coverage. We would be pleased to provide more detailed information about this plan during your upcoming visit. Please contact our office via phone or email at office@greatbluedental.com for further details. Our dentists look forward to addressing your dental care needs.
