    I had lasik surgery last week. I was very nervous but everyone here answered all my questions. Don’t be afraid to ask what is on your mind. I have astigmatisms in both eyes and had trouble seeing far away. Every day post surgery my vision seems to improve. I’m following the post procedure instructions to give my eyes the best chance to heal. I’m so glad I took a chance on lasik surgery. I did my surgery in the Madison WI office with Dr Louis Probst who you meet shortly before your treatment. The doctor (optometrist) goes through your prescription and adjusts it to where you are today and did an excellent job finding my perfect eye sight, this is not always easy for astigmatism eyesight. They seem to have an excellent team in the office. I’m a farmer and I’m so happy to have my vision corrected to make my job easier. I did my post check up 4 days after and everything is healing like it should. Get the consultation if you want to learn more and then decide if it’s the best fit for you.

    The moment you step in the door, you are TLC's top priority. Their eye exams are quick and allow you to explain your reasoning for wanting LASIK. I spent around 30 minutes there on the day of my procedure. The actual surgery took less than 10 minutes. If you're looking to get LASIK done, this is the place to go to. Dr. Probst is the best in the business.

    I was hesitant to do the surgery. A big side effect is dry eye and I didn't think I had a problem with that before surgery. At my consultation I was told I already had a slight dry eye and it could eventually get worse no matter if I did surgery or not. It didn't bug me and I thought my eyes were tired from wearing contacts. The actual procedure was so fast and simple. 2 days afterwards, I had perfect vision. The eye drops feel amazing and only help with the healing process and possible dry eye side effect. The more I rest my eyes, the better they feel. Waking up with perfect vision has made my life better every day!

    For anyone on the fence of getting their eyes done, just go for it! I went years wearing contacts and glasses in fear that I won’t get the results I wanted with lasik but here I am with perfect vision. The staff is amazing. Helpful and friendly with everyone happy to answer questions and help you feel more comfortable about the process. Dr. Probst is the best with skills and knowledge to back it up. TLC Madison is the place to go! You won’t regret it.

    I LOVE the outcome of my procedure. I'm still healing but the fact that I wakeup and can automatically see is something that means so much. I know a lot of people say this but I do honestly wish I could have done this sooner. The staff was so kind and kept me calm even when I was terrified and nervous before my procedure, I truly don't know how to put it in to words how happy and thankful I am.
