I cant say enough good about this place. my wife is a young high risk breast cancer candidate. we had a scare and this place was able to get her in the same day of calling for a somewhat emergency mri. they were slammed busy but the doctor came in maintained her composer and professionalism and explained all of the findings etc. on another visit my wife was unaware that her nail polish would not work in the mri machine this was found out pretty deep into the appointment so i figured that this mistake was on us and we were going to have to pay. to my surprise they did not charge us and credited us for the next appointment. we have no insurance and are self pay so this was a huge relief. hospitals should take note that this is how to treat people

I went here based on a recommendation from a friend, since the cost of having MRIs and CAT Scans done at the hospital are so outrageous. I was pleasantly surprised by how professional and polite the staff was, and the place was immaculately clean. I saved a couple thousand dollars and feel as though I was provided with better service than I would have been at the hospital. I’ll definitely return if I need any more of their services.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenosha Radiology Center

What if I am claustrophobic?

Many patients who experience claustrophobia are still able to undergo examinations in our 3T MRI. If anxiety occurs at the beginning of the procedure, we can administer a mild sedative, such as valium. Patients requiring sedation should arrange for transportation. For those with severe claustrophobia, our open MRI is available as an alternative option.

What is the difference between the 3T and open MRI?

The 3T MRI provides superior image quality, utilizing the most powerful magnet available for patient care. Its enhanced anatomical detail allows radiologists to detect abnormalities that may be missed by less powerful magnets. While the 3T is a closed magnet, its wider and shorter bore design is more accommodating for claustrophobic patients. The open MRI, on the other hand, offers visibility into the room during the exam, making it suitable for most claustrophobic patients without medication. Although the open MRI produces excellent images, they are not comparable to those of the 3T, and the scan duration is typically twice as long.
