They have a great activity program that engages the residents and helps to maintain their cognitive level. The new management team has made great improvements and really seems to care about the residents.

We took them on walks, played games, exercised, played trivia, painted nails, read the Bible and had some fun little porch parties! Brookdale is amazing! Thank you to all the staff for your kindness towards us!
- DEDebbie EllisMar 24, 20215.0Brookdale Kenosha and Lee Hozey have been a saving grace for not only my mom but me as well. After admitting my mom to a different memory care facility less than 2 months prior, in which she would either be sleeping most of the day or would be crying I knew she had to be moved. I was a wreck not knowing what was going on with her or to her. The facility would never provide FaceTime or zoom calls and the little bit I could see through the window didn’t help. Made me that much more worried and concerned for my moms well-being. Lee from Brookdale Kenosha happened to do a follow up phone call to see status of mom. (My brother never got back to her about choosing a different facility). Not really knowing what was going on at the previous facility and mom being miserable and sleeping all the time, I knew I wanted her moved immediately. I worked with Lee and she made things happen quickly. Mom moved into Brookdale Kenosha and my only regret is not placing her there at the beginning! My mom is SO happy there. She is constantly smiling, has a group of friends she hangs out with and is rarely in her room. She participates in the daily programming and she always tells me how much she loves everyone. ( she really enjoys spa day). The staff is nothing short of amazing- caring, concerned and loving. I can’t thank Lee enough for the follow up call and the deep care and concern she had when I made the decision to move mom immediately to Brookdale Kenosha. A HUGE thank you to the entire staff at Brookdale Kenosha for all you do! My mom is truly blessed to having such amazing caregivers!!! Debbie Ellis

Environment is very unprofessional, there is no cameras around to tell what the employees are doing to those residents. They are constantly hurt and no one has a clue what happens..I highly recommend u not take your loved ones there!
