  If I could leave 0 stars I would. Firstly feels like you wait forever to be seen and when you do they take you back to a room and have a virtual optometrist. Secondly you pay out the nose for glasses they run a deal for 2 for 79 and the total in no way shape or form comes close to that. Even if you pick 200 dollars frames the total will be close to a grand. My boyfriend wanted to try contacts so they sent him home with the wrong prescription and they completely irritated his eyes. Went somewhere else and they explained they did it incorrectly. Which is ridiculous. Then they give you a quote of when the glasses will be ready and the glasses don't come for almost two months. Lastly once you get said glasses they break 4 times within a year the only good thing you got was the warranty for the year but once it's over it's another almost 500 dollars to get them replaced. Go literally anywhere else. Shitty quality and incompetent workers. Sad you pay so much for such awful products. There's a reason the reviews are awful.

  Scammy!!! Three individual problems I experienced. 1) virtual optometrist appointment instead of in-person which I believe led to inaccurate prescription. Also during my stay, the calls glitched 3 times, with the call dropping for the first doctor so I had to restart with a second doctor. You do the test with a computer screen reflected in a mirror which just can’t be accurate. 2) incorrect/misleading color coded pricing chart for the glasses. According to the chart, my glasses should’ve been $180 total but were a whopping $800 for 3 pairs. I didn’t cancel the transaction because after the eye exam and browsing, I had 30 minutes left until close and felt guilty being there so late so I went through with the purchase and now I have buyer’s remorse so bad. I picked out two glasses with the correct color tag for the 2 for $89 deal then another pair that had a tag indicating it was $90, plus the eye exam was $79 so it should’ve been $258 total not more than $800!!! 3) when my glasses arrived, they’ve made no difference in my vision AT ALL. I’ve worn them for a few days now and they’ve made ZERO difference in my vision. Complete and total waste of $800. I have an astigmatism and I don’t feel they help with night driving at all, lights still look the same. They also don’t help with my nearsightedness at all, words from far away look exactly the same with and without glasses on, I basically paid $800 for facial accessories that don’t help my vision at all whatsoever. This part is on me, but my coworkers also pointed out the glasses are too big for my face, so they’re not even flattering facial accessories. Complete waste of money and I wish I could return the glasses and get a full refund. Not sure how the Google reviews are 4.4 stars when there’s countless one-star reviews. I should’ve done better research because as soon as you scroll you see countless articles and reviews expressing dissatisfaction with Stanton.

  This is the Jiffy Lube of eye clinics. They waited until I got to my limited time appointment to tell me the I had to be the one to work with my insurance company BEFORE the appointment. Lens Crafters it is.

  I received an exam here a little over a year ago. Today I had my yearly eye exam at Shopko Optical, with an actual doctor and not a TV screen, and was told that the prescription I was given by Stanton was completely wrong. We tested with my Stanton Optical prescription glasses as well to verify how incorrect it was. Not only has my prescription been wrong for over a year, I spent much more money getting an exam at Stanton Optical than I did with Shopko Optical today, where I received the PROPER prescription. I know there is no way I will get refunded or an employee will care to listen so that is why I am leaving this review. Don't waste your time going there. Unless you verify beforehand that you will be seeing an actual doctor IN PERSON. But even then, I would probably go elsewhere!

  Jenna and Bianca where very helpful. They went through all my options and I ordered my supply of contacts. There were issues with my order taking forever. But they worked with me and got them in. Once they got in I still owed the other half for my prescription but with me having to move out of Wisconsin Jenna worked with me and waved the other half of my payment so I could have my prescription. I was so thankful and will be going there in the future when I get back to Wisconsin. GREAT JOB STANTON OPTICAL. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
