I've never had a pharmacy be so rude. At first I figured it was just one overworked pharmacist. now after months of being a customer there I've had several terrible interactions between calls and picking up prescriptions. I'm constantly being told after I've received text notifications that my prescriptions are ready to pickup and waiting in the very long lines that they're not actually ready for pickup and they don't know when or even if they will be. There's two pharmacist that say that often like they're not going to be able to fill it. One of them even lied about a national shortage that another of them had to correct when I asked if I should transfer all my prescriptions. If anywhere else in the area still took my insurance I'd definitely transfer at this point. I don't drive and need a ride to come pick them up, every time I get there and they claim they're not ready even though I was notified they were, I end up loosing my opportunity to pick them up on time and I run out. That's happened almost every month now especially since Rite Aid shut down. Makes no sense to notify customers if the pharmacy is actually behind and not ready with the prescriptions.

Since RiteAid closed this pharmacy has been pretty bad. We have used it for 16 years and it was never a hassle. Now everything has gotten way worse. I understand that with riteaid closing they have more folks to serve but it has been more than four months. It is time to figure it out. We had a prescription sent there at 10 am. As of 7 pm they still have not filled it. This is the third time something like this has happened. We will be seeing it'll Tim's pharmacy takes our insurance and find another pharmacy.

I’ve been here 3 times and each experience has been horrible. I was transferred over from Rite Aid. The first time I went to pick up a medication, they said they didn’t have it in stock and to check the other pharmacies in town. After a half hour of calling around, I was called by Safeway pharmacy and told “we actually do have the medication in stock, it was just misplaced”. 45 mins wasted. Second time, I got a text saying my medication was ready and when I got there, I waited in line for a half hour only to be told they don’t have it ready but I could wait in the waiting room for 20 mins and get it. Almost an hour wasted. Third time, I went at 5:20 and waited in line for 40 mins and then at 6pm they turned the entire huge line away because it was closing time. There should’ve been a sign or something out front saying they’re closing soon and no other customers can wait in line because they won’t be seen, so that everyone didn’t waste nearly an hour waiting in line. 40 mins wasted. In my 3 trips there, I wasted 2 and a half hours. Which is extra irritating considering I have a busy schedule and a new baby. Do better Safeway Pharmacy.

Strangely rude and invasive staff regarding routine medications; A pharmacy technician there has a habit of asking (i.e. 4 of the 5 times I went there) if I had been on this medication "since childhood" and gave a very condscending look when I answered no, and stated it was "people like me" causing a medication shortage. When it came to calling to cancel a prescription so I could have it filled elsewhere, I've had less awkward and vitriolic reactions from people I was breaking up with. Weird, weird pharmacy.
