I NEVER complain about businesses. This was a HORRIBLE experience. It was supposed to be mine & my daughter’s first eye exam. I filled out the pre apt paperwork on their website & then called to make sure they received it. The girl said they didn’t receive it so I gave her my insurance over the phone. Today I went in & I had printed the paperwork from the website to make sure I didn’t have to fill it out when I got there. She said they did not have any of my information & needed my insurance again. I gave it to her & then she said I’m only covered under medical so I would need to pay out of pocket for that appointment if there wasn’t something medically wrong. I just wanted a simple eye exam I know there is nothing medically wrong. I took time off of work & left my daughter’s school program where my dad was being honored as a veteran to be at this appointment. I asked her why no one told me the day before when I gave my insurance & the girl at the front simply did not care. She asked who I spoke with. I told her I didn’t know her name but she entered my insurance the day before so it should be there and she should have let me know before my apt. None of the front desk people know what they are doing apparently. I am so frustrated that I wasted so much time & missed an important memory for no reason! Very unprofessional front desk staff & clearly incompetent.

It was horrible.I got there. My appointment was at 845 by God there like 6 or 7 minutes later because I went to the wrong address.I let them know they wanted to reschedule. I said l, are you kidding me no I need to be seen today already waited 2 months for this appointment. Then they had me wait almost from eight forty or fifty to ten thirty but then they told me that my insurance wasn't active so instead of them calling my insurance. I had to call my insurance. And I was lucky that I got someone right away and fixed everything. I asked to speak with the manager, she seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. And the medicare service person wanted to talk to her and did ask her cause I was right there. Why didn't she call? She responded and said they didn't have time but they had time because my appointment. I had made the appt 2 months ahead, so they had time to check if anything was wrong with my insurance? Thank God, my insurance was okay. So I went into the room the medical assistant that helped me name Myra was amazing. She is has excellent customer service. The only one person that made my moment comfortable was her other than that the ophthalmologist, the eye doctor was right away talking about money. I wanted to ask him questions because I'm not just going to go to a doctor and don't ask questions. And so all he was talking about is I wanted an extra call fraction that would check for stigmatism. Give me a prescription glass glasses prescription, I would have to pay $60, I said I don't have to pay $60, I have insurance and they will pay, but if they don't, then you can just pay 45, and I'm talking to myself or thinking, why is he talking about money? I didn't tell him.Don't you have the receptionist to talk with me about that I didn't like that they Let me go when they dilated my eyesight they just let me go. They did not give me glasses to go. They let me go I was almost 3 hours with my eyesight or more with blurry eyes, they are horrible. I never wanna go there again. They are not what I thought would be, I've been to eye doctors. And this was. The worst ever. It seemed to me that all they care was to get you in and out so they could have other people coming in. This is horrible but I make sure that I ask him questions. It seemed to me that he didn't like the fact that I was asking him questions and I would tell. Would you please tell me the definition of what you're saying in english? Not medical terminology. And so he didn't like the fact that I was asking him lots of questions which I knew I had the right to and I would do that to any doctors I would go to. How many interpreter I know how things go?So I know my rights and it was horrible. They treated me like if I was ninety years old and didn't know what I was doing thinking or say. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Dr. Moon went above and beyond to do all that he could to help out my daughter with an eye issue she has been having. He was very calming in a stressful situation and genuinely cared and wanted to help. I feel like it’s rare to find providers in Yakima that actually want to help so finding Dr. Moon was a giant blessing for my family.
