I don't usually post reviews. If I do they are positive. However, I need to post this and let people know there is an easier Safeway pharmacy to get to just down the street. I am living caregiver and have been picking up medications for my client at this location for a year and a half. I have been told on many occasions that if we want to do vaccines we can walk in. Today we walked in to get My clients vaccines. We didn't have an appointment scheduled from online service. They asked me to fill out a form which included asking for the last four digits of my clients social security number. It also asked for a Medicare b card which we didn't think we have but at the end of this horrendous event found out we did have it. After I had filled out the paperwork we were waiting in the room and many people went before us which was fine because they had appointments. Allie came in and said we need your Medicare b card or we can't help you. We were flustered and pulled out my clients cards (87 years old man who suffered from a stroke) and every card she looked at she said that's not it, that's not it. Another girl came out and said we can look up the information from the social security number (which I had written down on the form). Allie didn't like this and was clearly upset that we were going to be able to get helped. She wanted to turn us away it was very clear. We waited And finally after walking past us several times I asked Bella if we were going to be able to be seen and she currently replied Yes you have been billed and then walked away. At this point I was very angry and it almost felt racial and believe me I don't Even like to bring it up but it was clear that we were not welcome there even though Safeway had assured us time and time again that we could walk in for vaccines. When I tried to explain to Bella five times that we had already written down his social security number on the form and should have never had to endure this she had nothing to say, no apology nothing assuring just deflected everything with an emotionless face as though it was our fault that everything happened the way it did. I promise you I have been in customer service for years and this did not have to happen. We were not wanted there because we proposed some sort of an issue. But there was no issue because we had written down the social security number that the information could have been drawn from initially. This did not have to happen but it did and there was no assurance that on their end they had done anything out of the ordinary. So my warning to you is this if you choose to go to this pharmacy you will have to wait to get into the parking lot once you get into the parking lot you will have to find parking as it is usually packed then you have to walk to the back of the store where you stand in line. Usually there is a friendly face his name is Topher. He was not there today. He has been the only reason that we have continued coming to this place. No longer, we are transferring my clients medications to the Safeway down the street where we will at least not have to endure the traffic to get in and get his prescriptions filled. Don't subject yourself to rudeness, don't accept being treated like you have done something wrong when you havent. On a side note, and this is very personal My client had an accident in the store after this happened. He was very upset by the situation and it caused him to have an accident on our way out of the store of a personal nature. It ruined both of our days. Allie and Bella? DO BETTER for your customers especially if they are elderly and disabled.

I have been coming here for years and using this pharmacy. They are so short staffed and have been for a while. Besides filling prescriptions all day long and waiting on customers, they are busy giving shots and all kinds of vaccines. I realize that they don’t answer the phone like they used to but people get a grip….they do the best that they can. Everywhere you go is short handed now. It doesn’t matter where it’s at. Please give these people a break.

Technician has horrible customer service skills, should be fired. They lie about when prescriptions are going to be done and don't communicate when they choose to put a rush on orders without informing the customer. Young pharmacist guy has lots of excuses.
